Mega quilter needle moving up and down too slow

Take the bobbin out and see if hand wheel turns if sew where maybe something wrong with the bobbin

could be the computer is not working right or could be a mechanical problem, if the problem doesn't stop the machine needs to be checked

Most machines with a bobbin winder on them have a round knob inside of the machines flywheel. That's the wheel that turns when you sew.
TURN the inside knob forward or reverse to lock or unlock the main gears from turning the needle bar in the sewing motion.

Each machine is different. Most of the machines that are electronic have a sensor to shut it off if you place the bobbin on the winder and push the winder into its position to wind. Give it a try. Also, check your spindle at the end to pull it outwards or attempt to untighten like you do a jar. This is the old mechanical machine but it is possible this machine uses it. Next you must look on your monitor for a particular symbol that represents the bobbin. This would likely be a button to turn it off and on.

Are you using a stitch regulator? Try it with the foot control first. More information would help to solve your problem.

I agree to have the regulator check, & even having the whole machine checked wouldn't hurt.

change the needle--needle must be correct one for fabric sewn
adjust the top tension--make sure there is no lint or loose threads
in the top tension dial
also clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or loose threads
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly--some bobbins only go one way

presser foot down???

If you're sure you're using the correct needles, you should take it to a service tech to align it properly.

the up and down buttons are not working properly. When pressing the needle down button, the needle does go down and then comes right back up. pressing the needle up button makes the needle shoot up and down 2 times very fast. HELP
