My c6280 HP Printer will not print. It will print a test page. When i try to print something, it goes quickly from 'printing' to 'error'. I have tried everything I can think of. I have a HP Pavilion Slimline. Any suggestions? I am hooked up to NetGear wireless for my laptop using one wireless for the computer and one for the printer.

I would go to HP and update the C6280 printers drivers. It sounds like there is an issue with the driver. It there is not an update then I would uninstall the driver and reinstall.
Well you definitely have a pc problem and not one of the printer. the printer just prints what it is sent and as you can print the alignment page that takes care of the printer.
You have reinstalled the driver but did you remove the old one first? I bet not. You should download the hp printer removal tool. Run it and after a restart then you can install the driver. Personally i would turn off the auto update feature as hp updates really mess things up.
I reckon after the reinstall the printer will be fine.
2. What happens when you try to print the Windows Test page? Does it only print the Windows Flag and nothing else? Does the copy option work on the printer? (can you copy something or does it come out blank as well)
Usually, you need to print a test page: go to start, settings, find
printers and faxes and open it. You will see your printer. Right click
on the printer and you will see a menu. Open Properties. Find General-
there is a "print test page" button. Click on it. When the test page is
printed, you will see some pictures: those are the steps you need to
take to make your scanner/copier work. Basically, all you need to do is put
the test page in your scanner (as indicated) and press scan. The
scanner/copier will then do an alignment and you will be able to copy manually.
Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.
