How do I replace the battery in an htc one phone

Replacing a battery in a phone with a non-removable battery should only be attempted by experienced technicians. The battery is usually located and attached(with adhesive) to the back of the LCD which means you have to dismantle almost the entire phone. Plus you take a chance at breaking your LCD while trying to remove the battery.

Thunderbolt charge port

This happened to me as well. I just ended up going through my insurance coverage from Best Buy to get the phone replaced.

You can buy the port on eBay as a replacement part. If you are looking to replace it yourself there is a great youtube video that shows how to tear down the thunderbolt:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3rjgVsSWxQ

Here is a link to the ebay search results:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Replacement-Parts-Tools-/43304/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HTC+thunderbolt+charger+port

Another option if you do not really need the usb cable to connect the phone to your computer is to check out an external battery charger. you can pick them up cheap on ebay along with spare batteries. that way you can have one on charge while using another. here is a link to the search results on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=thunderbolt+external+charger&_sacat=0&_odkw=thunderbolt+spare+charger&_osacat=0&_from=R40

I hope this helps!

Hi i'm using this type of htc phone..the battery is not working properly.the battery doesn't last even an hour.i have had to plug the charger always just for the phone to work. hope you can help me....

Unfortunately, your battery seems to be dead. Consider replacing it!
These HTC smartphones require lots of energy so batteries are under greater load than those in usual cell-phones.
Hope this helps!

How can I transfer photos from my HTC Wildfire to my computer via USB cable ? I can find no information in the handbook.

You may follow the following steps:
  1. Connect your Phone to PC using USB and select "Disk drive" on the pop-up menu at phone.
  2. At your PC, browse My Computer just like any USB storage device. The pictures you've taken is usually found at F:\dcim\100MEDIA (the drive letter may vary), or better yet search for *.jpg

Htc battery is not up to dat level.. Is it so..

What do you mean by HTC battery is not up to "dat" (that) level?

Is it always running out of battery so easily? Or it's not charging correctly.

HTC phones has a battery life basis. Please refer to the info below:

Standby time: Up to 490 h (2G) / Up to 390 h (3G)
Talk time : Up to 6 h 20 min (2G) / Up to 5 h 40 min (3G)
Music play: Up to 12 h

If your HTC phone's battery is not not reaching the said hours, there could be a possibility that your battery is defective. You may send your phone to the dealer and have them repair it, or replace it if it's still under the warranty period.

Batery

I experienced the same problem. Only 2 days after purchasing my new HTC Touch HD handset, the battery went flat and could not be charged. The phone, the USB cable and charger were all functional. I had to return the phone to the retailer (TELSTRA SHOP - AUSTRALIA) who concluded that the battery was faulty, but I was told the entire phone had to be returned to HTC AUSTRALIA as the retailer would not replace the battery. I was told it might take several weeks for the problem to be resolved.

After a little negotiation, the retailer finally agreed to replace the entire phone. My new HTC Touch HD phone works well and I have had no further battery charging problems. You are not alone. Don't despair. It is just a faulty battery.
