to get any user manual go google and type in ---user manual for sanyo dwm-470 3- disc dvd/cd player--- and there will be a site (probably a sanyo site ) that will have a pdf version download

Eventide sells the manual for $25. The link for it is here. New equipment manuals are available for free in electronic form - older stuff like the BD980 have manuals that predate electronic manuals. Apparently they have plenty printed versions to sell rather than scan one and making it available for download. Check on the Eventide Forums for a user that may be able to help with a scanned copy.
