Does fixya reward members for answering questions?

They used to have a program that paid for answers, that has been discontinued. They did award some experts once a couple three years ago, it did not pan out well, now they have a program called 6ya and you can apply to be an expert, the process involves taking live phone calls though. However you do get paid.

In the time that I have been answering questions I have received a whole 5 dollars. They do have programs that you can sign up for to provide telephone technical support. But just answering questions here will really only give you the satisfaction of having helped someone out. I am a top 10% printer expert on this site, just to give you an idea. My current stats show 307,679 people helped.
