have you tried entering your backup pin? if you fail to enter you pattern, you have the option to enter a backup pin. Usually by default, the pin is the last 4 of your phone number, or maybe something like 0000. But if you do know your pin, just enter that to log in
This is a security feature.. You should be glad. If your phone was stolen this is what the thief would be dealing with. Why not sign into your google acct and answer your secure questions and reset your lock pattern? An ATM uses a similar feature referred to as 3-strikes you're out. After 3 unsuccessful PIN attempts your card is history. I don't know any way around this feature but maybe another 'fixer' can help. And I wish you luck

Shut off your cell phone,take off the back of your phone and pull out the battery. Record the IMEInumber which is under the battery. Re-insert the battery and power on thephone. Enter the last 4 digits of the IMEI number on the PIN entry screen.

Call your serviceprovider and request the unlock PIN. You will have to prove you are a customerby stating your cell phone number, address and social security number.

Turn off your phone. Holdthe keys "3," "*" and "Call" and switch the phoneon. Hold the three buttons down until the word "Formatting..."appears on the screen. This should reset the phone lock code.
After 5 failed attempts to unlock you should be presented with a button in the lower left of the unlock screen labeled 'Forgot Pattern?'. hit this button and enter your Google account credentials you used to initially sync the device with your Google account.
