If you're refering to upgrading your Navigation software, QuickGPSfix data and/or your current (out-dated) map, you can do it by connecting to the TomTom website (www.TomTom.com) using the TomTom HOME or MyDrive Connect software, depending on the model/version of your GPS device.

If you're refering to upgrading your GPS hardware/equipment, to have more capability/features, the device is not hardware upgradable, except for adding/using an SD card with a higher storage/memory capacity (to store more info/maps, etc.) ... provided you have a GPS device with an SD card slot.

You'll want to consider buying a newer model with more capabilities / features than what you have now.

Generally (and I can only speak generally with the details you gave) you download the firmware image file from the manufacturer, log into the router and upload it.

Ok so i bought 2g ram upgraid ddr2 for my cf 51...was told this is what it takes....does not fit...do i shave it down....whats the issue

No you cannot shave memory to make it fit and work. It is designed for either SDRAM or DDR the slots are what identify the fit and type of Ram used on your computer. So you may not be using DDR2 ram it may be something else you need to get the specific specs for your lap top and exchange or purchase the proper ram replacement never deface or sand down ram and try to install into any computer. It's a notebook, which means that very less chances and more expensive to upgrade the video memory.

Hi my technics hifi is playing up, it turns on but the stereo sound processor will not come on.this needs to work for the hifi to work can you help

hi mate, the sound processer has packed up, mines done exactly the same thing, i've taken it in to a panasonic technics specialist and the verdict is just that. i've confirmed it by swapping the sound processor with one off a friends stereo and mine came back to life. Hope that helps mate.

hi, Post the laptop model no and make so I can send you all the detail. you can download and install it. change the harddisk with greater space there shouldn't be any challenge on it.
