2009 G29 Yamaha Golf Cart. Kids didn't plug in charger correctly and melted the charging port and plug. Changed both still won't charge. Charger does not work either.

If the charging port and plug have been replaced and the charger still does not work, there may be an issue with the charging circuit in the golf cart. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Charging fuse: Check the charging fuse to see if it's blown. If it is, replace it with a new one of the same amperage.
  2. Charging relay: Check the charging relay to see if it's working properly. You can do this by using a multimeter to check the resistance across the relay contacts. If there is no resistance, the relay is bad and needs to be replaced.
  3. Charging receptacle: Check the charging receptacle to make sure it's getting power. Use a voltmeter to check for voltage at the charging port.
  4. Charging controller: The charging controller may be damaged if the charging port and plug were melted. Check the charging controller for signs of damage or overheating. If it's damaged, it will need to be replaced.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to take the golf cart to a professional mechanic or dealer for further diagnosis and repair.

Where do I plug the charger at to an ergorapido by Electrolux

Which model do you have? The Ergorapido EL1014A has a charging station. On that model, the charging adapter plugs into the port on the bottom of the floor section of the charging station. This port is below the wall section of the charging station. For the Ergorapido Lithium Ion Plus 2 in 1 vacuum, EL2055B, the charger plugs into a port on the back of the main vacuum above the neck to the roller brush head. For a picture of the charging port location, see https://moderncastle.com/vacuum-cleaner-reviews/electrolux-ergorapido-vacuum-review/ . Scroll down to the Battery section to see the appropriate image.

I hope this helps. The manual for the EL1014A is much clearer about charging the vacuum.

Charging port broken

This is a common problem, especially with cheap tablets. Repair is likely to be uneconomic. But to prevent this happening, a magnetic charging cable is recommended. These are available on eBay for a few dollars,. The plug can be left in the port all the time and the magnetic cable detaches if it is jerked accidentally.

What can I do ....myblackberry curve charges and light turns green but the screen does not come on

Hello Julie Webster it sounds like the phone is not charging. Plug your phone into your desktop manager for Blackberry if you have it. You want to save your information as soon as possible. If your curve still does not come on when it is plug into your computer then the charging port is either dirty or not working at all. The curve had an issue with it\'s charging ports. If is a Verizon phone the may be able to replace it. If this is not an option here are a few steps for you.

You need a stiff but clean toothbrush and can air. Take the brush and clean the dust and dirt out of the charging port. Do not blow into the charging port to long because when the can starts to feel cold you spraying to long. One more test to see if your charging port is actually charging. See if the charging port moves with the plug inside it. Don\'t be to hard on the port it can become lose very easily.

We need a plug

The charging on the tablet depends on the model.
Most including the Kocaso 776 charge via the micro USB port, and this is a standard USB port.
So all you do is purchase a micro USB to standard USB cable and plug it into the standard USB port on the charger or a PC.

While on charger, the charge indicator LED is flashing instead of being lit continually. Battery doesn't seem to be charging properly. I've tried both the Charging cradle and direct connect. Same results....

Try a few things:

- If both of the above charging situations plug into a computer or car, try plugging into the wall. The amount of power drawn from other sources is lower than from a standard outlet, and if the phone is very low, this can be an issue.

- If both of the above charging solutions use one cable, try another cable. This will help you identify if the issue is with the cable or the phone.

- If different cables/power sources produce the same result, the problem is definitely with your phone. I would suspect a problem with the charging port, but it is also possible that the battery has failed. Try swapping a new battery (they should be available cheaply online if you don't know someone else with the same model phone), as well as cleaning your charging port with some canned air, and possibly a toothpick (be very gentle!) if you can see some debris.

Generally, charging ports are directly attached to the motherboard, making replacing just the port difficult and not cost effective. If the port is kaput, you may need another phone.

Motorola v365 won't charge and won't stay with wall power

Hello,

The reason your phone wont charge might be because there is a problem with the battery, the charger or the charging port.

To test it if it is the battery,

Insert the battery into another phone and try to charge it for a while,
if it does not work, then it is the battery.

All you have to do is to change the battery.

To test it if it is the charger,

Plug the charger to a power supply,
Connect the charger to another phone, to see if it works.

If it does not work, then it is the charger that needs replacement.

To test if it is the charging port,

Insert a new battery, and plug it to a new charger.

If it does not charge, then it is the charging port.

Replace the charging port and it will be okay.

To replace the charging port;
  1. After removing your back cover and battery, remove the four torx 6 screws you see. (When reassembling, the gold screws go at the bottom and the silver screws go back at the top),
  2. With the four screws removed you can now remove the battery compartment,
  3. With the battery slot removed you have access to one of the ribbons which connects the screen to the main body of the phone. Unclip this (it fits like a plug and socket).
  4. You'll now have the phone in two parts,
  5. Take to the lower part and disconnect the charging port and replace it with a new one,
  6. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
Take care
