Try this approach: 1. Remove the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer.2. Disconnect the power cord from the power source.3. Reconnect the power cord directly to the power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge devices or power outlets.4. Re-plug the power adapter into the printer.5. If the printer won't automatically power on, press the power button on the printer operator panel. I hope this helps. Is your printer even powering on? Try to remove the power adapter from the printer(small black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached).
Before reinserting the power adapter, check if it's warm or cold. It could be a defective power adapter issue. Wait at least 10 seconds before replugging the power adapter. That should give enough time for your printer to reset itself.

Is is just a power cord - they have tons of them at Goodwill, Savers.....I even pick up USB printer cables for $2 (instead pay $25 at Best Buy)
If the cord contains a transformer (black box) - then you will probably have to order one online (for the best deal).
