Lenovo -One touch recovery

Lenovo comes with one touch recovery function. I'm not an hardware expert but i guess this means some preconfiguration of hard drive disk. I bought Lenovo/ DOS and installed windows by my own. Now I want to create an image of my windows or in other words how can i make that one key recovery functioanl on my system. Do I need to re-install windows? Does this only works with Windows Vista? Please advise.

I want to go back to factory reset on my lenovo Laptop. Its a E550 thinkpad with windows 7 enterprise. I want it completely wiped out ....Like it was when Ibought it

did you read the manual first the chapter called RECOVERY? here lets read that together now,,, (answered here vast times now) the book is first then the pages. if the PC has not been SLAMMED (with wrong OS) the recovery works if the HDD is still good. ok? and search for E550 and find this. and Chapter 9

I must guess 1st that you have no recovery disks. so only have 1 recourse. the magic recovery key using the recovery parititon. the F11 key, power on and hammer F1 from dead cold turned off, this the F11 key may only work in w8.1 or w10. I think (reading the book is not very clear here) but it implies w7 had Norton Image on it. it means day one you image your PC, then today recover. so if you didnt do that step in the manual then there is no recovery image now. there you go. I guess the recovery partition magic F11 only happened w8 and newer PC. here is your support page, this is all there is at lenovo, we are not them,

, https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-edge-laptops/thinkpad-e550?linkTrack=Homepage%3ABody_Search%20Products&searchType=3&keyWordSearch=E550%20(ThinkPad)

if the Lenovo recovery fails, buy windows 10 from MS and install it.

My touchsreen isn't working anymore

Do you mean the touch function isn't working? Try reloading the lenovo drivers.
Do you mean the screen is dark or non functioning?
The usual cause is the flat cable from the body of the laptop to the screen is broken.
Warranty or repair shop.

Samsung r510 laptop

I guess you mean the keyboard function act as though the fn key is always being pressed? If so this is likely to be a hardware problem. Look at gently prying up the key (most keys are press fit and can be removed, lift it off as level as you can, should be relatively easy but don't force it!) once off try moving the rubber pad below the key with a small blunt instrument, keep testing other keys while doing it to see if the fn effect ever lifts of, may have got wet or something underneath the key.

I want to set back to factory mode

I am guessing that you want to do a complete system restore back to factory, correct? If so then you realize everything on your computer will be wiped out and it will be back to what is was when it left the factory. This is an extreme change. Turn off your Lenovo. (i mean shut down and make sure it's power off) Now press on the "One Key Recovery" key at the top of your Keyboard, your Lenovo S10 should boot up. Else hold down the "One Key Recovery" key until it boot up. Now you may choose "Restore to factory settings" from the screen and proceed for the restoration. ** the restoration will first check if your windows files has been corrupted, if yes, then it will restore it to the original state and no restore is required. else it will continue with the restoration. Hope this helps...

I want windows7 drivers

Lenovo does not support Windows 7 on that notebook. That doesn't mean it won't work, but core functions and proprietary hardware will not work correctly or at all.

Lenovo Y410 Touchpad has stopped working

These devices are generally quite reliable so I would be looking for the possibililty of a damaged software driver.
If the touchpad is completely dead, use the tab and arrow keys to access the Control Panel. Open the Mouse folder, go to the Hardware tab, locate the touchpad entry (it is likely shown as a mouse), highlight it and delete the entry.
Exit the open windows, reboot your computer.
If the touch pad is functional at all, Windows should show a dialog box stating 'Found new hardware' and it may also say that it is installing the software for it. It may however, ask you to insert a disk with the software on it and that would be on any recovery disk that came with your notebook. If it does not see the touchpad because it is defective, then it is a failure of the touchpad.
Good luck-
