My washing machine wont fill up with water, what would the problem be, ive cleaned the hose at both ends so its not blocked?

The water wont fill up, I have to use the hose and manually fill up the machine and then turn it on and the rest of the cycle works then when the water drains for the next rinse i have to fill up the water manually again to finish the cycle, just wondering what the problem would be if the water doesnt fill up, I have cleaned the hose both ends and the filter cap on the machine but the water still not filling in?

Lid off, right side circular pressure switch with black hose attached. Remove end of hose, blow down to make sure not blocked and blow into switch where hose attaches. Should click twice. If doesn't click, faulty pressure switch (replace)

Cold water tricles in . no normal flow does the washer valve need to be replaced

There are debri screens in many styles of washer fill hoses that can block up. And the end that connects to the back of your machine also has a reachable screen filter up inside the water valve inlet that can also block up.

Disconnect the water fill hose at the machine and check screens ... clean or replace if needed.

The screen are usually attached to the hose washer and will pop out manually with a small screwdriver or knife. Then turn the water valve on with the free end of the hose aimed into your washer tub to make sure you have free water flow from the faucet to the water valve. If all screens are clean and clear but still no water pressure going into the washer after reconnecting your hoses then you can suspect the water valve inlet assembly.

It wont drain the water away after a wash we

sounds like your pump may be gone, or could be pipe blocked. to check pipe fill machine take outlet pipe at rear of machine and lay this into a bowl. If water flows ok then all pipes are clear. As water is coming through just put machine onto spin cycle and raise hose to see if water will then pump out.

GWWJRR4170E4WW WASHER WONT STOP FILLING WITH WATER. pRIOR TO THAT IT WOULD AT RANDOM SKIP CYCLES OR NOT SUT OFF AT THE END

pop open the front. Check the little 1/4 in hose going to the side of the tub. It may have gunk build up inside it blocking air flow. Its the pressure hose that tells your water level switch how much water is in the washer. Clean it out as well as the port it attaches to.

Washing machine wont fill

hmmm...wool requires cold water...I'm guessing that first the hot water and now the cold water solenoid valves have become clogged with sediment. test by turning off water. then loosen the hose connection to each inlet in back of washer. then slowly open water valves and let water pour into wash tub if hose will reach, otherwise pour into a bucket. if water comes out of hose, then look for metal screens at hose connections to washer and clean those. if still no water through solenoids (after re-connecting water hoses) then may need to disassemble solenoids and clean those too.
