Dishwasher powders/ detergents are high in alkaline with high PH values
that reacts with some metals or metal based products so any shiny aluminium finishes will be grey
it is a chemical reaction and will not be removable by washing or polishing
It will not look good but will cause not other problems

Bringing and blending aplliances

Generally, a blade or grinding or blending/mixing part that is permanently attached to a metal shaft from the appliance motor is held on that shaft by a 'shear pin'. This pin breaks when something is put in the appliance that the grinder, mixer, blender can't gring, mix, or blend. This is to protect the motor from overload. Afterwards, The motor will continue to turn, but the blade or paddle, or whatever will not turn.
The shear pin needs to be replaced.
The shear pin passes through one side of the base of the bade/grinder/paddle assembly, through the motor shaft, and out the other side of the blade/grinder/paddle.
The piece of the pin must be removed from the shaft, and from the two sides of the blending/grinding part. This is generally a press-fit, and some effort may be required to accomplish this.
When the pieces have been removed, a common 'roll pin' of the appropriate diameter should be inserted to hol the turning part on the shaft. It must fit tightly, and some effort should be required to insert the new pin. // '); }// ]]> Back to Edit // '); }// ]]> Publish preview_graphic.jpg

Kenwood a710a mixer suddenly lacks power

sounds like the motor armature is burn. Dissemble the unit, remove the motor. Loosen the bolts running from end to end of the motor and with emery cloth, clean the small metal plates on the ehd of the armature. They should be bright copper colour. I the armature is burnt, they will be dull brown. The other thing is to replace the brushes in the motor.

Attachment stuck on shaft of food processor

put the mixing bowl up as much as possible. spray some wd40 into the groove between the attachement and the motor shaft. Wait for several minutes, then with a hammer and a piece of wood, give the bowl a good wack. With a few goes, it will gradually come off. I will be putting some butter inside the attachement from now on to keep it lubricated

How to attach grating/shredding blades to GE Food Centre FP22

When you remove the regular chopper blade, it should fit on top of the stem. The chopper blade must be removed to use the slicer / shredder attachments.

Oster regency kitchen center meat grinder attachment

What exactly are you having problems? Setting up the grinder? The hopper inserts into the back side of the mixer head locks in place with a set screw. Then insert the piece that looks like an auger push it all the way back. next, comes the four blade knife it looks like this " + " if look at the center of the blade you will notice a square hole on one side place that side towards the auger. Then there are your grinder attatchments I only have two,one coarse, one fine. place one of them against the blades placing the tabs in the cutouts on the discharge end. mext there is a large metal cap thread this on the discharge. Set the control to grind and the speed to 10. You are set to go. cut the meat into strips or chunks that will fit down the infeed and use the plastic plunger to push them into the auger.

Dishwasher safe?

I would not reccomend it. The water, soap etc is safe, but the heat drying process risks melting parts, and they are surprisingly expensive to replace for being plastic.

Cusinart little pro plus

I have this food processorfor years and I love it. If you need a copy of the manual go to the Cuisinart website - they have all of the maunals listed there. But, here is the instructinos for the juicer. Good Luck. Using The Juicer
Attachment
The Citrus Juicer
Attachment includes:
Strainer Basket, which
locks into processor work
bowl. It has grooved cam
on one side and smooth
locking device on opposite
side. In its center is the:
Juicer Stem Adapter,
which fits over motor shaft
of Pro Plus™.
Small cone, for lemons
and limes. It must always
be attached to Adapter
when Attachment is in use.
Slot in center of underside
fits rib on Adapter.
Medium cone, for oranges
and large cone, for grapefruits.
Both fit over small
cone.
1. Place work bowl on Pro
Plus™ base in usual way.
Hold Strainer Basket
open side up, with
locking device facing
you. Align locking device
slightly to left of locking
tab on front rim of work
bowl.
Place strainer basket on
work bowl, fitting Juicer
Stem Adapter loosely
over motor shaft. Turn
basket counterclockwise
as far as it will go, until it
clicks into position.
Turn Juicer Stem
Adapter clockwise until it
drops into position.
Check that it is down as
far as it will go on the
motor shaft.
2. Hold small cone by top
and place it over Juicer
Stem Adapter, fitting slot
over rib on adapter.
Cut citrus fruit in half and
hold cut side down over
cone. With other hand,
hold control lever in
PULSE position and
press down fruit to
extract juice. For continuous
operation, move
control lever to ON. Twist
fruit to extract most juice.
Do not allow juice to
overflow center tube of
work bowl.
To remove attachment,
remove cone from Juicer
Stem Adapter. Loosen
adapter from motor shaft
by lifting it slightly, straight
up. Hold Strainer Basket
on both sides and turn
clockwise to unlock it from
work bowl. Lift straight up.
Remove work bowl from
base and pour out juice.

Making Dough

Yes, it is the S-blade. I can't find my manual either and I have been trying to figure out how to get it onto the shaft!! The Hamilton Beach website says it should slip down the shaft once the bowl is attached, but I have a white piece on top of the metal I can not remove and the s-blade will not slip over it.
