How can I see what Iam typing when the keyboard hides the typed words?

Not sure what you actually want to do.

When the keyboard is up, look in its lower right corner.
Do you see a key with the icon of a keyboard on it ?
If so, tap the key. The keyboard should go into hiding.
To open it, start an app that requires typing, like email.
Tap in the an area for a message, where you would type.
The keyboard should appear.

* I've had this problem with my Kindle Fire HD 7". I found that other (non-kindle) apps does not adjust for specific screen sizes. I came across similar problem with my Samsung Galaxy smart phone. You may have to tilt the tablet several ways to get the screen to switch into a wider mode (twist around or flip screen).
* There is another problem with the "Pop up" input screen as it will cover you input location. This hides what gets typed into the entry line. Results in a lot of typos or spell checked and changed into another word (that changes the meaning)
* I've found that if your waiting for an entry to "enter" and switch back to the original page, it may help to press the "<" back arrow to the previous page. This is due to the keyboard or "data entry" window covered your "okay to enter" window.
* Final, In your case. The keyboard does show up. Try to enter password and press "Enter". If this does not work then call for service. Support should be able to walk you through the login process.
* If this is an App then you will need to contact the company of that app. Many put a disclaimer when downloading to inform you that the app may not work or optimized for your device.

PS; If all else fails then you may need to perform a "Hard Reset". This will return you to a factory setting. It may download the latest operating system.

When you start to type something, you should get a keyboard icon that you can select to change options. If not, just go into the system options and select Language & Input. Select your keyboard and go into options. Uncheck the options you don't want. Autocorrect, offensive words, suggestions, etc...

The keyboard comes up and does one of two thing: 1. it lets me type, suggests a word that I select & then doesn't place it into the text area OR it doesn't let me type .... Each character just kept disappearing as I typed the next. LG Keyboard has stopped

when typing in the name off app on the keyboard you type on Press the ENTER button and not the home button on tablet .

Make sure the keyboard is really blue tooth. Most are not. Look on the underside of the keyboard to see if the usb dongle is hiding there much like wireless mouse's have.

This is a known issue with Touch Cover, go with Type Cover. It costs ten bucks more but is well worth it.

If the spacebar on the keyboard isn't there (with .com and underscore keys etc instead), you're in the URL-typing keyboard instead of the normal one. Try clicking the @ icon in the bar just above the keyboard to change modes. In handwriting mode, it's the same thing...click the @ icon near the left side of the bottom bar.
