How can i delete some of my music from this device

Music can be deleted from your Kindle Fire by pressing and holding the title from the Device tab and selecting Remove Album/Song from device. Tap Yes to confirm you'd like to delete the song or album from your device.
Music stored in Your Music Library cannot be deleted through the device. To delete music stored in your Your Music Library, visit www.amazon.com/musiclibrary.

Some devices require going on a computer and deleting music. If you can't find the "delete" in the settings on the mp3 player, then go on a computer and delete from there.

1.Go to Settings
2. Go to General
3. Go to Usage
4. Wait for Storage to load
5. Go to Music and swipe
6. Delete will pop up
7. Press Delete
This will delete ALL songs, but will not remove the music app.
There you go.

connect it to itunes.. click on the ipod and under the music tab.. uncheck sync all music from music library

refresh as much as you can. it doesn't readily delete or refresh sometimes.. you have to try it until you delete the file..

To delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
To format it..on your device..go under..menu, setting and there should be a format option option there..let me know if that doenst work for you...

The Music DB refers to the Music Database, or the Artist, Album, and Song info.

The error means your device is too full. It needs some free space on the device to create this information.

Connect your device to the PC and manually delete some files from it in My Computer>Device Name (m240)>MUSIC Folder.

It needs 6MB of free space, so you may need to delete several songs.

Disconnect the device from the PC, it should restart and you should be ok. If the message continues, keep deleting files until its gone,

You can manually delete music thru My Computer>Device Name>Music Folder. If you are using Windows Media Player, on the left side you can click on the device name>music and delete them there. You can add to this question for further assistance. Best of Luck.
