GE 25861GE3B
Good day Mickey,
First I'll provide you with a link to the manual if you need it:
http://157.254.235.130/public/25861_current.pdf
I know it's a weird lokking link, it's a server from thompson which is the parent company for GE home electronics, not exactly yoo east to find.
Anyway on to the problem at hand,
To make it answer after more rings there is switch on the back of the base. It hase 3 settings 3/5/TS. If set to 3 it will pick up in rings, set it to 5 and it will pick up in 5 rings. The TS setting stands for TollSaver, do not use this setting, TS will cause it to pick up in 2 rings. Set it to 5, however if you want to get 10rings before it picks up there's a little trick. When the answering machine gets full it will start picking up in 10rings, they do this so you know your answering machine is full. You can still leave a meassge even when it's full, it will automatically delete the oldest message to make room for a new one. However the display on the machin will display an F instead of the number of new messages.
Well I hope the helps with that problem, because I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that phone has a maximum capability of 10 speed dials (0-9) and that's the max.
There are models on the market with lots of speed dials but there usually corded phones.
Well Good Luck & I hope this helps.
