My JVC Everio GZ-MG135aa fell off of it's tripod stand and now the lcd is white on the right half and has bright lines on the other half (this is all it will show) If I hit record it still records and everything fine but won't show anything but bright lines. Is there any way of fixing this myself?

JVC Everio GZ-MG27U videos appear overexposed (very white, washed out, barely visible) both on the LCD (when recording) and on PC when played back... Is there a setting that needs reset or is it something...

It should no trouble with your JVC Everio GZ-MG27U exactly.You can find the Manual for it to look up the mode setting tips and operations .After correctly reset it,it will be OK .Good luck !

Jvc hd7. there is "one" pixel "dead".

I don't know if its from the CCD or from your LCD Monitor. CCD dead pixels can be fix but you can't do this at home, need service center because first you gonna need Service Support Software, second you need connecting cable(QAMxxx) and (YTUxxx) Jig. Sorry

I have a JVC HDD Camcorder GZ-MG135AA. I've had it for a while but it has a HDD error and it also says "Camera temperature is too low, keep camera power on?..what can I do to fix this?

The best solution is to send the product back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If you have a receipt for the product and its within the warranty period (1 year) they will do this free of charge. I can help you with the process.

If it is brand new and came with a warranty, return it. I hope the symptoms are continuous(not intermittent).

the problem was solved automatically by connecting the camcoder to the pc which had the jvc software installed to it.

you can't, if your warranty still lasts send it in, other then that there is no way. buy a new camera.

LCD panel needs replacing - this is the classic case of detached screen ribbon, which unfortunately is not repairable without silicon printing equipment which costs thousands. Also check playback on another device (ie streamed through your PC) to make sure the heads haven't become misaligned.
