To determine the correct capacitor size for your Armstrong air conditioner model # SCU10AZ4A-4A, you will need to refer to the manufacturer's specifications or consult with a licensed HVAC technician. Capacitor sizes can vary depending on the specific make and model of the air conditioner, as well as other factors such as the age of the unit and its current electrical load. A licensed technician can help diagnose the issue with your air conditioner and recommend the appropriate capacitor size for your specific unit. It is not recommended to guess the capacitor size, as using the wrong size can potentially damage the unit or cause it to operate inefficiently.
Let me know th model number of your saw. The number you gave is a unisaw, not made anymore but highly desirable The motor may have been changed because the original motor if you can find one is extremely expensive. The original motor does not use capacitors. let me know more about the motor mfg, hp model number frame size voltage.
It appears you may already have located your problem, the capacitors are very coming to burn out, if a motor will run after you spin by hand, mmore times than not the capacitor is the problem. The name tag on the equipment itself sometimes has the capacitor size and the motor nameplate usually does as well. you can call Nordyne support at 18004224328 and with your Intertherm Model number they can give you the correct capacitor size, which you can purchase at any HVAC supply house. If I had to guess, I would say you need a 5 mfd capacitor based on the blower size. but call them and verify. Also, most all supply houses that sell that capacitor can run the Intertherm numbers and see the correct size as well.
A hard start or turbo 2000 will not work if the run capacitor is bad. You will need to contact a ruud supply house or dealer with model and serial to find out the exact match. I have checked my sources and came up empty handed. You could try getting a 35/5 MFD at 440V or a 45/5 MFD at 440V as these are the most common capacitors used in Rheem and Ruud equipment. The key is that you will need to check your amp draws on both motors against the nameplate rating to make sure that you are not over-amping the motor. Also check the nameplates on both of the motors. Most condenser fan motors and some compressors list the capacitor size they require in a somewhat less than conspicious location on the label.
