Your question doesn't give enough detail to properly answer. Do you know if the tiller is a Horse model or a Pony model? Troy Bilt made both models back in the timeframe you noted. The Horse model had tires that required air to inflate. The Pony model likely had hard rubber tires in that era. The Horse models had a reverse disc, no belt. The Pony had a belt.

Once you know which model you have - look for your closest Troy Bilt dealer and see if they can track down the part for you. They might appreciate it if you could provide the serial number - which is located on the pipe connecting the tiller transmission front half to the back half, where the tines are located. It's stamped right into the metal tube on both models.

I need to replace the blade drive belt on an old Roper GC220BR but can't find any manual online and don't know the size of the belt?

This is shot in dark but AYP started making roper for sears a few years ago this is drawing of one of their models if yours is like this and 42" deck your part no. Might be Oregon 75-197 otherwise go to searspartsdirect.com and see what you might find.

Code 15 when checking appears, experiencing bad idling and speedo not working. when i throuw water all over the enjin the problem is gone for about a week.

how long ago was this car a daily driver (fresh fuel)?
and how long ago did the speedo die... my guess is unrelated to all else but the speedo must work for the EFI to work driving fast, but not
so idling, and not moving.
no year , no model, a 1973 civic? I have no idea.
no engine stated, I4, 6? size?

I love the water, trick but is the top method from finding
bad HV ignition wires, fast. yours does opposite. that.

if car is in USA< no clues there, it's older than 1996.
code 15 is http://www.troublecodes.net/honda/
IGNITION output.

depends on year and engine, type.
on old cars this signal means the ignitor and coil signals are bad
on newer cars, it can be the ECU spark signal bad.
there are 3 ECU designs, in all the years,
OBD1 comes in these flavors
{1}PGM-CARB.
{2}PGM-FI four cylinder engines.
{3}D5Z1 engine except California.

yea?
model and sub model?
engine type.?
and country if possible.... always helps, ?

I was driving on highway when drive belt came loose and I lost power to the vehicle. I was able to come to a safe spot but the battery died there. Belt is NOT broken but lose. My belt was bought at...

You need to inspect all of your pullies and make sure that all of them spin freely and have no side-to- side wobble. Also inspect your belt tensioner to make sure it is not broken. some cars have problems with the belts coming off if snow or water gets into them. There are technical service bulletins that address this problem on a couple of vehicles. I don't know if they apply to yours because the problem as I am reading it, does not have Year, Make, Model, or Engine size in the description. If the belt seems like it is way too long by several inches, you may have either a pully that is completely missing or the belt is not routed correctly.

I have an old White, model STD270 with a disintegrated belt

A belt replacement should be easy, first you need to measure how long a belt is needed by taking a piece of twine and placing it where the belt will go and using it to measure how long the belt need to be. Belts come in different sizes such as 14 1/2, 13 3/8 etc.

Both belts shredded. Atlas garden tiller model 12 -5100

I bought a repair manual from Clymer and found the belt sizes for my Atlas 12.5022 tiller. The manual lists a 1/2 inch by by 36 inch forward belt and 1/2 inch by 32 inch reverse belt for the model 12-5100. Good luck. Don't bother to buy the Clyme manual. It isn't very complete.
