Hi there just purchased my ryobi 36v electric mower was working fine for about 15minutes suddenly stopped now it still turns on but just shuts down after letting go of power button. Please help

Use locktite red on the threads. It may also be that one bolt is left hand thread and the other side is standard right hand thread. The should be on so that moving forward tightens the nut. You should also have two washers and a nut. I wonder if you have the one that was discontinued?

i don't know. [stop - your mower may be under warranty and may qualify for free repairs. check with your owner's manual for a free number to call for information]. before working on it, make sure the battery is removed. consider turning it upside down to inspect the wheel. if there is no physical blockage stopping the wheel from turning, you could try spraying the bolt with WD40 or a few drops of motor oil. if the wheel turns, lubricate it again and do the same to the other wheels. if it does not turn, the wheel will have to be taken off.

test the battery with DMM-Digital Multi-Tester. when full charge a 36V battery measures 37-38 Volts. if battery is full charge the problem is your electric drill bring it to service center maybe need to replace carbon brush or the motor.

don't they r junk and batteries r expensive just gave one to scrap dealer

Check and see if the battery is actually charged. If the battery sits run down all winter they have a habit of not holding a charge. and needs replacing.

Not without trying to narrow down the choices.
If it shuts off like you turned the key its probably something electrical like a relay or the coil.
But you would really need to troubleshoot it when it happens to narrow it down.

This is not a software issue but more of a hardware fault - the battery and charging circuit all rechargeable batteries laptop ones get to become useless after x amount of charges. What is the battery condition? Do you get sufficient charge remaining for atleast 1 hour? Or also it may be overheating due to insufficient ventilation.

I have the same problem with my regent. Sometimes i just ride around a few minutes and it suddenly engages. I have no idea why.
