Now this one can be challenging. Sometimes (if you can see it and get to it easily) you can take a tool, crescent wrench or something similar and give it a couple of quick raps
If that does not seem to work, then unplug its power source and allow it to reset itself.
Finally, because of computers in systems, it keeps a memory.
Totally clear out the memory by removing the neg battery terminal first, second, remove the pos battery terminal, then touch the two of the ends together and hold for about 30 seconds or so.
That will erase all error codes in you system. Keep in mind that it will also delete radio channels and similar preprogrammed things in vehicle.
BTW...be sture and check fuses. I've seen cars do all sorts of crazy things because a fuse is blown.
These are just some simple suggestions that i hope gets things up and running. Otherwise, dealership gets to fix things.
