Frontier 340, cannot get the back printing to print on the photos, the back printing test prints, but not the photos

Is it a photo-printer? Are you trying to print photos on both sides? Most photo paper is not set up to be printed on both sides. It might be the type of paper that would be causing the dual-side trouble.

Hello Charles! Welcome to FixYa!

Actually as you told that you have replaced ink cartridge sometimes ago so with the new ink the effect of primary colors is more and when you print on the high quality the effect of primary color is more.
If you are printing the photos with software the try to print it on medium quality, even on low quality, The result will be fine. You can change the setting of printing in any software. After a time while when the ink will be used the result will automatically fine even on High quality.

I hope you have a clear picture in your mind.

Uneven color on photo prints.

You need to clean your print cartridges.

Go to servicing the device in printing preferences or settings.

It should print a test page and your prints should be fine.

Use original inks. Try reinstalling the drivers. Should all that fail, you may need to get it serviced or replaced if under warranty.

HP PSC 1350 Photo Printing (Glossy Paper) Pront Quality issue

keep checking the HP site for an updated Driver for your printer, but why not use an online photo printing service like Walgreens or Walmart, You can't possibly print photos at home cheaper than they can, and this way you get actual photographs back.
