I have a Samsung LED TV model UN50EH5000FXZA the picture went out. How do I fix it?

I have sound and backlight, but no picture. I just replaced three boards, the power supply board, the t-con board and the main board. The problem seemed fixed and the TV worked for an hour or so then I lost the picture again. What could have caused this? HELP!!

Your set probably (guessing, since you did not include a model #) has two, one left and another on the right, oriented vertically.

SOURCE: Repairing a LED TV

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

SOURCE: Samsung UN50H6350AF LED TV. No picture. I do get backlights and sound. (See pic) I tried replacing the main board and the T-con board and there was no change. Any suggestions? Try power supply board?

You have wasted enough money guessing bite the bullet and replace the TV. I have done this same thing and regret it to this day, should have just junked it.

SOURCE: Would replacing the T-Con board in an LG TV55LN5600-UIfix the issue of 'no picture and base red led blinking 3 times'?

The service manual in the troubleshooting section says that is a power board error, I would try that board.

I have a Samsung UN50EH5000FXZA TV. The display went out. When I plug it in, the backlight flickers intermittently with no picture. I do not hear any startup sounds. What component should I replace?

My UN60H6203AFXZA was doing the same thing. 38 of my LED backlights were not working (common problem). Buy an LED tester ($20 some places) then take the back panel off. Disconnect the connector going from the power supply to the LEDs and test the line to the LEDS with the tester (watch videos on-line, it's easy). Replacing the LED strips is kind of easy too, just take one step at a time by watching the yt videos available on-line.

It sounds like you received a bad replacement board, happens a lot of buying from ebay...if you can see light in the panel the LED's are working

I have a Samsung 32" LED tv model number UN32F5500FXZA. It has sound but no picture but passes the flash light test. I don't see any backlights. Any idea what the part is?

The backlights are located around the edge of screen inside the tv. Now this model is know to have LED failures. The LED strips are you backlights. The LED strips are powered by the power supply board but due to the fact that this model is know to have LED failures, I would recommend replacement of the LED strips, all of them, first. I have a 50 inch Samsung Smart TV UN50EH5300 that went dead...so I replaced the voltage supply board and it came on sound but no picture.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.
