To change the time display on your Viking oven from military time to standard time, follow these steps:
Press and hold the "Clock" button on the control panel until the time display starts flashing.
Press the "Plus" or "Minus" buttons to adjust the time to the correct standard time.
Press the "Clock" button again to save the changes and exit the time-setting mode.
Regarding the codes that appear when you press and hold the "Clock" button, these are called diagnostic codes and are used to troubleshoot problems with the oven. The codes will vary depending on the specific model of your oven and the specific issue being diagnosed. You can usually find a list of the diagnostic codes in the owner's manual for your oven, or you can contact Viking for more information.
Step 1
Locate the "Clock" button on the display. The display is located above the oven door. It clearly shows the time and has settings for temperature, time and cooking.
Step 2
Press and hold the "Clock" button until the time starts to blink.
Step 3
Set the time with the number pad. Ignore the colons and enter the number straight through. For example, if the current time is 10:08, just type 1-0-0-8.
Step 4
Set AM and PM by pressing the "#" button. Press "Start" to finish.
To access the clock controls, press the "Stop clear" button, press "User pref," and then press "5." Use the number keys to enter the time as a four-digit number. For example, press the "1," "2," "3," and "0" buttons to set the clock to display 12:30. Press "Start enter +30 sec" to complete the process.
On GE ovens there should be a CLOCK button to press first. Then if the control has number pads 1 to 0 you enter the correct time and press clock or start again to finish. If it has no 1 to 0 pads there should be 2 arrow type buttons with + on one and - on the other. Press clock and then use + to go up or - to go down. Holding either button in will make it change fast. When you get close to correct time hit button slowly to finish. Hit clock button when time is correct.
You do not need the clock I removed it and wired the oven direct. The wires are easy to get at when the front panel is removed. If you look at the manuals on line they will guide you with the correct wires to use
Hi
You need to set your clock
If it is a digital timer you usually have to press 2 of the buttons on the bottom and once you see a change in the clock (usually it stops flashing) press the up or down button to set the time
once the time is set you may need to push the manual button sometimes this button is identified by a hand

For the NW09DO, press the outer two buttons ("-" and "+") together and hold for three or four seconds. Then press "+" to advance the clock/time and "-" to go back.
When the correct time is showing, leave the buttons alone for four or five seconds.
