I have administrator on user name and cannot get

You didn't mention the Operating System you're running. But if you can't login to the Administrator account - you won't be able to add another user account. In XP, if there's no password set, you can login to the Administrator account by booting into Safe Mode. In Vista, Win 7, and Win 8 Administrator account is disabled by default. You can enable the account, and blank the password, by booting from a CD or thumb drive created with the following program: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

How to enable Windows 7 administrator account and reset lost Win 7 admin password
There are two parts for your Windows 7:
* Enable Windows 7 administrator account
* Reset lost Win 7 admin password
With 240 million licenses sold out in one year, Windows 7 has been proved to be a successful product of Microsoft. Compared with its previous versions like Windows XP, it has many improved features. The built-in administrator account is one of the features. In Windows XP, there is a default administrator account after installation. But the built-in administrator account is disabled by default in Windows 7. To enable Windows 7 administrator account and assign a password to it, you can achieve it in 2 methods.
Part I: Enable Windows 7 administrator account
Method 1: Use Command Prompt
The easiest way to enable the Windows 7 built-in administrator account is to use the Command Prompt.
1. Click Start and type CMD in the search box. Right-click CMD and select Run as Administrator.
2. Click Yes when prompted to allow the Command Processor to run. And then the command prompt will appear.
3. Type net user in the command prompt window, and then hit Enter. All the Windows account user names will be listed. You'll also see the Administrator account, but now it is not enabled.
4. Type net user administrator /active:yes and hit Enter to enable Windows 7 admin account.
Now the Windows 7 administrator account is created. To create the Windows 7 administrator password, you can follow the below steps:
1. Switch to log on Windows 7 with the administrator account.
2. Click Start, Control Panel, User Accounts and Family Safety and User Accounts in order. You'll enter the screen where you can make changes for your account.
3. Click Create a password for your account on the screen.
4. In the coming screen, type and confirm your Win 7 admin password.
5. Enter password hint and click Create Password.
Now your Windows 7 admin password is successfully created.
Method 2: Use Local Users and Groups
1. Click Start and type lusrmgr.msc in the search box, and then hit Enter. The Local Users and Groups screen will come up.
2. Double-click the Users folder. And all the Windows 7 account will be displayed for you.
3. Right-click the Administrator account and select Properties.
4. Uncheck the "Account is disabled" check-box and click OK on the administrator properties screen.
Now Win 7 admin account is enabled. To set a password for the enabled Windows 7 administrator account, follow the steps as below:
1. Right-click the Administrator account and select Set Password.
2. Click Proceed to go on your operation
3. Type and confirm your new Win 7 admin password and click Ok
4. Close the Local Users and Groups screen.
Now the Windows 7 administrator password is assigned to your Windows 7 admin account.
Part II: Reset lost Win 7 admin password
Windows 7 administrator password reset Tips:
Note 1. Please remember to create a Windows 7 password reset disk after assigning Windows administrator password. It allows you to change your forgotten Win 7 admin password when you are locked out of Windows.
Note 2. If you forgot to create the password reset disk, you can choose to use Windows Password Breaker to help create a Windows 7 password reset disk rather than reinstalling the system. Now follow the steps to create the disk to reset Windows 7 password.
step 1. Download and install Windows Password Breaker.
step 2. Run the program and burn a Windows password reset disk.
Step 3. Reset Windows 7 administrator password with the disk.
It is an easy and safe way for Windows 7 admin password reset.

I have an old Print Shop 6.0 OEM Special Edition I have been using forever. I have Vista premium It just quit. I uninstalled it but it won't reinstall. It says "product identification file is missing or...

The program must be installed in an Administrator account and must be run in compatibility mode.

To check if you are using an Administrator account use the following steps:

1. Click on Start, then Control Panel

2. Open user accounts then select your Account

3. If it says Administrator you are finished, if not continue to step 4

4. Select Change your Account type, then choose administrator.

5. Click Ok.

6. Reboot computer and install.

Once the install is complete, follow these steps to run in compatibility mode:

1. Right click on desktop shortcut, then select properties

2. Click Compatibility tab, then check the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode for:

3. It should default to Windows XP (Service pack 3). leave it there.

4. Click Ok.

This should resolve your issue. If it does not, either you have a bad install disc or you will need to perform a completely clean install of Print Shop, which is signficantly more involved.

I purchased printshop 20 deluxe and installed on my computer which has windows 7 installed on it. The installation shows it was successful however when I try to run the printshop program it tries to start...

The Print Shop version 20 Deluxe for PC is not compatible with Windows 7. The newer Version 23 is compatible. This is due to software compatibility issues with Windows 7.

You can check for Win 7 Compatibility for "software or hardware" @ Windows 7 Compatibility Center

It will not run on Win 7, even when you are using the Compatibility Mode options. Too bad you have to get the newer version 23.

Hope it helps.

Making printshop 21 run properly on win 7

You can either get Broderbund Print Shop Deluxe 2.0 which is Win7 compatible or use a virtual/dual boot computer with WinXP. (The Vista compatible version was Print Shop 23; so you are dealing with some significant changes in the OS. Thus the compatibility mode probably won't work. You can try right clicking on the installer and choose Properties and the Compatibility Tab. Check Run as Compatible with XP then right click on the installer again and choose Run as Administrator. Then do the Compatiblity mode again with the actual program.)

With Win7 Pro and Ultimate, you have an option to download and run XP mode which takes two programs that you download from Microsoft and install. This lets you run a virtual XP computer inside the Win7 computer for free. All other virtual computer programs or dual boot systems require a licensed version of XP.

I hope this helps.

Print Shop 2.0 Deluxe will not load.

Have you tried installing them in Compatibility Mode? If not, look in
Vista's Help
& Support for how to try this. If that doesn't work, you can
try installing them as Administrator by right-clicking on the installer
executable and choosing "run as Administrator".
If none of that works, I'm sorry but you'll need to update to a current
version of the program that the mftr. says will work in Vista.

Avery DesignPro Error while initialising

Reinstalling and restarting won't solve the problem. For some reason Avery design pro limited attaches it self to windows user account. You can create another windows user account and run the program and it will work. When you start the program in the new windows user account it will ask you for your name "Author Name".
