Model ATF7000ES
Hello Ken, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire washer is going directly into the perm press cycle no matter which option is selected. I would suggest performing a reset on the washer and you can do that by disconnecting the power from it for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not correct your issue, you may need to have the control panel or a wiring harness replaced. If you need help disassembling your washer I would recommend seeking a professional technician. You can locate a technician by contacting your manufacturer. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. -Matt

disconnect the unit from power, and water...
move away from wall
easiest access is from underneath, by tipping it back around 45 degrees. I don't recommend placing it on it's back, for a variety of reasons
you should see the belt right there. you'llneed to loosen the clamp holding the pulley wheel that belt goes around, and then it should slip off nicely..
make sure to tension the pulley again snug, but not too tight..there's a torque spec for it, but it's tough to get a torque wrench in that small of a space
hope that help you and thanks for using Fixya

DR code means that either the door is not closed or the door sensor is bad
Hello Torm Siverson - This particular issue can be caused by quite a few reasons. Washer could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, faulty door lock assembly, faulty pump or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Did you notice a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned or could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly or pressure switch. You can also press and hold the start/pause and cancel button together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds to display an error code on the LED. What error code does it display? However, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the washer.
Hello Mary Fortner - It means that the washer has been paused; the cycle has been interrupted. Either the "Pause/Cancel" button or "Start/Pause" button has been pressed. To resume wash - press "Pause/Cancel" or "Start/Pause" once. If this does not prove to be successful please turn the breaker to the unit off for 5 minutes. Then turn the breaker back on to the unit, and retry the cycle setting again.
