If your router has a security code, you'll have to enter it in the wifi setup on the TV. You may want to enable mac filtering on the router. This way you enter the TV's mac address and all other wireless devices that use the router to connect to the internet including cell phones. This only has to be done once but it gives an extra level of security that keeps others from stealing internet from you wirelessly.

PROGRAMS PLAYS FOR SHORT WHILE, STOPS AND BUFFERS TO 25, AND THEN WON'T PLAY REST OF PROGRAM.

You have a slow Internet connection. This may be caused be the Streaming Stick being far from the wireless router. The best way to watch Netflix is to have an internet connection of 25/25 Mbps and use a wired (ethernet ) connection to a Roku 3 for example. If you are using DSL that would be a problem because of slow internet speed. Try to imorove the position of the router closer to the Streming Stick if possible. I stream at a distance of 30 ft and it never buffers with a wireless connection to a 720p TV and have a wired connection to a Roku 3 10 a 1080p TV and it works beautifully. Good Luck!

I have a joy tab and have tried connecting to my wifi but when I do it stops at obtaining ip address and does nothing. I have tried forgetting the network over and over again but no joy! Can someone help?

I had the same problem but I have now managed to get it connected by trying something slightly different.

Initially I was going into settings, selecting wifi and then pressing on the recognised wireless network. When I entered the password for the network it would not connect.

To get it working, I selected Wifi in the settings, and then selected "ADD NETWORK". This showed a list of recognised wifi networks, and when I selected my wifi network I entered the password and it connected straight away.

I hope this helps! I was getting ready to send mine back, but its working fine now.

I cannot connect to the WIFI at work, but I can connect to my WIFI network at home, and other public networks. The wireless network at work is pushed by a D-Link 8200AP with a WAP security, just like it is...

Your laptop cannot connect to your work's wireless network because the security settings (ir WAP) in the D-Link is different to the security setting in your Netgear.
The wireless card in your laptop will need the settings changed to suit the D-Link's wireless settings ie the SSID and WAP.
You will need to change the wireless card settings in your laptop back to the Netgear's wireless settings to connect to your wireless network at home.
Some wireless cards allow you to set up different profiles for different wireless networks which allow you to switch wireless networks easily by just selecting the profile for the network you want to connect to.

Please test the WiFi with a laptop or netbook, if Internet works with it, maybe you have bad settings into the wireless adapter, you could use the PC wireless connection parameters (SSID, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS) as reference with the data obtained with the TV wireless adapter, the only difference must be the IP address, the rest must be the same since they're using the same network.

Http error $code$

i've gotten that a couple times when trying to connect via the internal modem, a simple reset usually fixed it. If your wifi settings are messed up make sure your wifi switch is on, ensure it is enabled in com manager too. Also, try removing the wireless network via the software and adding it again. if all that fails do a hard reset. If that fails you are pretty much out of luck. I had two MDA's.... they both slowly got **** as months went by and i constantly had to reload the firmware, you may want to consider a different model
