It sounds like the unit is getting power but is going into standby mode due to an internal fault. Sadly, newer receivers these days are not designed to be repaired but replaced!

1. close door securely 2. press power after putting detergent.3 After making your selction for different levels eg hot, warm cold, press START.
usually these buttons are pretty reliable, GL
Laptops don't boot for the following reasons: 1) Bad Power Cord. 2) Bad
DC Power Jack where the power cord plugs into the laptop. 3) Static
Charge Buildup. 4) Bad Motherboard.
The above 4 reasons are when
you press the power button and absolutely nothing happens. You hear no
fans running, no disk drive running, no one time clicking sound on the
CD Drive and No light for a second or two when the CD drives click. In
the case of a motherboard issue sometimes you will hear beep sounds or
see blinking lights. Those beep sounds and blinking lights tells the
technician what is going on with your motherboard and why it will not
boot. If you see the blinking lights or hear beeps count them.
So you have a power light which means your power cord and
dc power jack is good. So lets see if you have a static charge buildup.
Remove
the Power Cord and the Battery from the laptop, then Press and Hold the
Power Button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds put the power cord back
into the laptop, but leave the battery out. Press the power button to
see if it boots. If it does you had a Static Charge Buildup and it's ok
to put your battery back in. If it does not you more than likely have
an issue with your motherboard.
Remove the RAM chips and re-insert. Now try. Go to System Preferences, Accounts, click on your user account, then click on login items and select all the choices, and then click on the - icon box. Now try this thing out. Nothing still? Shut the thing down and wait 5 seconds. Now remove your battery and make sure your AC adapter is not plugged in. Now press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Now put back in your battery and plug back in the AC adapter and power this beast up. Any luck? No? Power down and wait 5 seconds. Now press the power button and immediately press the apple logo key-option key which is next to the apple logo key-the P key- and the R key at the same time. Wait for 3 bong sounds and then you can release the keys. Still nothing? Your fu.kd bud, because you got an expensive paper weight. You gonna have to repair or replace the logic board.
