My tablet shut off while still charged and will not come back on, any help?

I will put the charger in and it shows the android screen then goes back off, but only shows that screen when the charger is in.

Power Off
Press and Hold the Power button and the Volume Up button until you see the Recovery Console.

My tablet n78 is shut off .it wont charge or show any sign....

Test your charger with a multimeter or take it to a Battery+ store to see if it still provides the proper charge (they test it for free). If your charger is good, it might be the internal battery of the tablet or the main board.
