the clutch allows a break in torque so that you can select the next gear required. You have to move the gear lever to get the next gear
if the gear lever doesn't move then the problem is in the gear selector / levers and not the clutch
looks like you have a 240v model, if you have 4 wires you should have 2 colors and a white and green, you will need all 4 and looks like it is a 24 amp unit you will need a 2 pole 30a breaker for your panel, you will need to put the 2 colored wires on the breaker and the white wire to the neutral bar @ the back of the panel and the green wire to the ground bar, also @ the back of the panel, best if you have no knowledge of electrical you might want to get a qualified electrician in to install for you, as electricity is very dangerous.
Sounds like the gears inside the transmision are starting to break apart inside, Not much u can do but things you can try....
cheapest: fluid and filter, and throw in a bottle of lucas oil for
transmissions, this will settle this down some and the lucas oil help
for smoother shift
more expensive: fluid flush at a shop, this will do the same thing as a
fluid change, but it changes all of the fluid, where as a regular fluid
change only gets about 3/4 new
most expensive, get a rebuild, ultimately you will have to replace this
transmission in the future, you can try the other steps first and they
may help for a while but once a transmission starts going downhill you
can slow it down but you cant stop it
your statement I can hardly understand , any way , check the gare lever to see if you getting the gare with out the engine running
----- now put it in neutral and see if you can get the gare , engine running --- if not there might be aproblem with your clutch ---- how your clutch peddle feel ---- more soft than before / reply
