Dryer starts for 10 sec and then stops, has an burn smell it runs great Although when it stops it won't restart until a few mins later. Then the same over again. Its a loud noise when going for 10 sec

Sounds like the vetilation hole in the gas cap is plugged, so fuel feeding out pulls a slight vaccuum in the tank. Flow stops until some air leaks in. Clean the cap or leave it loose.

Check the belt.

sounds like u have a bad overheat sensor on the back on the electric strip housing and on fan housing they are round they are very cheap just take them off and replace both of them and that should fix your problem

If the machine quit and won't restart, I would be looking at the drum belt. Some machines will not start if the belt is broken. If the smell you are getting is more electrtical than a rubber smell you need to be checking the thermostats and make sure the venting from the back of the dryer to the outside is not full of lint because the safety thermostat will shut the dryer down so it doesn't overheat.

sounds like your fuel pump is going out. One thought might be that the fuel filter is causing enough resistance to over heat the pump. I would check the fule pressure to determine a free flow of fuel.

Yes, this sounds like the motor cutting out on thermal lockout.

Check the vent for clogging condition that will turn off unit and cause it to overheat. If vent goes up to roof check up there also - that is where mine was clogged with a sort of paper mache clog!!!!!

generally if the uint shuts off from overheating and then will not restart for a 10-20 min period of time usually a sign htat hte motor is overheating and needs repalcing

sounds like the motor. if the motor gets too hot then the overload on the motor wont let it come back on until it cools off
