Kubota GL7000 generator keeps blowing ingnition fuse. sometimes on start up sometimes after it runs for about 1/2 hour

LEARN THAT FUEL PUMPS CAN SHORT AND DO ALL THE TIME.
WIRES GOOD FUSE BLOWS IS PUMP
THE SCHEMATIC ON THE KUBOTA PROVES THAT
IF SEEN
AND I CAN NOT.
I have an AMP clamp meter
and i clamp to the pump + plus wire
and see overload over 10 amps the pump is bad. or jammed(deep inside)

check your coil connector wires......if there 1 wire dislocate or cut the wire connect that wire.

Try bleeding the generator as some air could have entered in the system.

The fuel injection fuse should also power the injectors. If the fuse is blowing, I would think one of the injectors has shorted to ground.
Have you checked them ?

hi there...if your fuse keeps blowing up, have your wiring checked, could be a short wire in your car....

CHECK FUSES OR RELAYS INGNITION CONTACTS /GET TEST LAMP CHECK INGNITION WIRES FOR 12VOLTS SUPPLY

You are correct,now to find out what circuit is blowing the fuse.If the car was in a accident check that area first.Chances are its interrior or running lights.lets start with interrior lights,install new fuse turn on interrior lights on for 1/2 hour.if fuse blows remove interrior lamp lenses and look for one of the hot wires to be shorted out on the body.To check the tail lights turn off the interrior lights and turn on the running lights.If fuse blows start with any damaged areas,check the trunk area for damage to the wire harness,if you have a trailer hitch chcek the trailer harness for damage.theres no easy fix here,hope I have been some help.Thanks for using FixYa......Ray

The auto speed control is failed. Keep it manual and see how it does...It will run at full throttle even when no load is running. Then fix the throttle control when able.

What are you pluging into the generator??? If the the item/s are drawing more amps or watts, than the 6500 will handel, EX: 6500+or++ or if you add something while it is running, ka pow! Please let me know specifically what you have pluged into it, the fuse only blows if you are overloading it! Check the amp or watt draw of what you are pluging into it to see if the generator can handle it. If you overload the generator enought times you can burn the windings and than it gets costly. Talk to your local shop about what it can handle.
