I lost the combination so haven't locked it for fear of not getting it open again

I bought the safe at Walmart a few yrs ago,lost the lock numbers a few months after I got it,haven't locked since

If the door is open & you still have access, try removing the cover plate from the back of the door & you'll be able to recover existing or depending on age & brand you can reset to a new combination..
NB: besure to test it several times with door open..
Depending on your location, I'm happy to decode the original or reset a new one..(located in Western Suburbs)..

That doesnt sound safe!have you tried emailing the manufacturer with a serial number and model number.to ask for combination.

Help with Forgotten or Lost Lock Combinations from Master Lock Master... The locksmiths will not give combination without you visiting a dealer. Maybe you can at first try a few different combinations to see if you can do it yourself but don't get frustrated and take the lock to a dealer to save time and energy.

How to reset or change your lock combination:
  • 1. Enter "zero" six times.
  • 2. Enter your existing six (6) digit combination one time. (or 123456, factory default if you haven't changed the combination yet.
  • 3. Enter your NEW six (6) digit combination two times.
  • 4. If a mistake is made wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 - 3.
  • 5. Test lock operation several times before closing the door.

CAUTION: When selecting a combination do not use birthday or other predictable data that could give correlation between the user and combination.

• Valid Combination Entry - Double signal after valid six (6) digit combination is entered.
• Invalid Combination Entry - Triple signal indicates the old combination is still valid.

I have a sentry s0410. I have lost the key and combination - how do I open the safe?

Side note: In all sentry documentation it clearly states that if you lock your posessions in the safe and lose the key/combination, there is no master key or combo that will open your safe. You could try to write the good people at sentry but I haven't heard a success story from that yet.
My advice would be to befriend a firefighter and somehow convince him to let you borrow the jaws of life. Or get a hold of some explosives.

Krypto has the resetting of the combination lock on their website (under Maintenance) but if you cannot unlock it in the first place you can not reset the combination. You have to know the old combination to get it open.

Harldline safe not opening
Sure blame the poor kid.
Think about it, what good would a safe be if by pressing a few keys the combination was changed?
As with any combination safe you need to clear the combination by turning one, two or three times in the opposite direction before entering the combination.

Now say your sorry to your kid.

Forgot the code for my sentry 3110 safe
3 Digit Combination Lock
31-10-31

  1. NOTE: If your safe DOES NOT have a key, skip Step 3.
  2. Turn the dial to zero.
  3. Insert your key and turn it until the plunger pops out.
  4. Turn the dial to the left (counterclockwise) three times to the first number of the combination (pass the first number of your combination two times, stopping on it the third time).
  5. Turn the dial to the right (clockwise) two times to the second number of the combination (pass your second number once, stopping on it the second time).
  6. Turn the dial to the left to the last number (stop the first time on your last number).
  7. Pull the handle down; the door should open.

Sentury Fire Proof Safe 1250
Is there any way to crack the safe by feel, ive seen it done before and have some experience in opening locks with pin tumblers, but not wheel tumblers. i can find the notch in the third wheel at around 10-15 but i dont know where to go from there. I would not be using this information for any illegal use, i just need to open my safe on my own, and soon, thank you.
