Denim hole repair what setting?

Depends on the size and type of hole. If it's large with missing fabric, I back the hole with matching fabric, then zig-zag several times around the hole If it just a tear or slit that can be pulled back together and repaired, I use a darning stitch to connect the torn pieces.

Since we don't have the pattern or instructions, we really can't help. You might take your project and the instructions to the local fabric store and ask some of the kind staff if they can help.

Just put my button hole foot on for the first time ready to practise a button hole but it just keeps beeping any ideas?

Yes, you need to review the steps to sew a button hole, because just putting on the foot is not enough. Generally there are several other things that must be set before it will actually sew buttonholes. Download your user's manual free at the Singer Sewing machine website, and review it.

Trying to make a botton hole

Check to see what your stitch length is set on. If it's on 0, it won't sew. If that doesn't work, check the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual. You can also check their web page for contact information or a phone number that you can call for assistance.

Brother sewing machine cs2000i botton hole problem as follows the foot stays in place and does not feed. I have changed the thread, looked at the video, clean any clogs. What is it?

it does not specify if this machine is electronic or mechanical, but electronic sewing machine,,like mine have what is called a buttonhole lever & unless that buttonhole lever is pulled gently down the buttonhole maker will not work.
that may be the problem with the machine
or it maybe the feeddogs may not be working,,check the feeddog knob or lever to see what position it's in,,up position is for sewing & down position is for darning

The stiches at the botton are loose,it sound good at sewing but somehow it still a real mess ,no matter how i tried all different adjustment in the control bottons..

Looping on the underside is an indication that your top thread is not under tension. So you need to check again on the top threading up and make sure the thread is seated into the tension discs. Always thread up with the pressure foot raised to open up the tension device. Make sure the thread goes into the tension device, to test, lower the pressure foot and pull on the thread downwards - it should feel firm and resist pulling. If you can't get any tension onto the top thread, then the tension device may be broken.

You should not need to adjust the bottom tension at all.

If a machine is set up correctly the top tension should only need finessing by half a number at the most.

Machine will not complete a buttonhole, keeps showing error code 6L. No error code listed in manual. Machine will only do first half of buttonhole and then shows code and stops.

I've been looking too and I found here http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/sewingclasses/board.pl?t=18328that you need to put the bar behind the needle threader down. I think they call it a button hole stop? I don't know, but it worked. I didn't even know it existed. But it solved my problem. On my Kenmore it looks like a black lever and you pull it down. It tells the button-holer that you are at the end of the hole and it needs to backup. nifty, kind of.
