SOURCE: how do i wire my audio bahn speakers

This is a 6 ohm speaker, which should be wired to a 6 ohm outlet, but 4 ohm outlet is working, so allow it to stay like that. If you try to connect to 2 or 1 ohm outlet, the performance will actually worsen. In electrical theory, maximum power is transferred to a load (speaker) when the impedance is a match. You already have a mis-match of 6 to 4 ohm, but it is close enough. Try not to go farther away from maximum power transfer. Your speaker will draw too much current on a 1 or 2 ohm outlet and you may end up blowing fuses, too.

SOURCE: L7 wiring options

yes it should work fine i would bridge them up to 4 ohms each speaker then bridge them back bye conectin them on the amp by puting the red with the red and puting the black with the black if the amp only has 1 chanel then put both speakers red on the same positive on the amp and same with the negative now to bring the ohms up to 4 ohms conect the solid red to the black with dot with a short wire ok then the ones that are not run together will go to the amp giving offf 4 ohms and with the 2 speakers bridged together thay will reduce to 2 ohms witch means that eatch speaker will get about 600 wats of rms from the amp

SOURCE: How to wire 2 ohm 2 12ich alpine type r's to box terminals?

Dual 4 ohm subwoofers can only be wired @ 1 ohm, 4 ohm or 8 ohm.
2 ohm mono load is not possible.
You will need to use (1) subwoofer to get the 1000W out of the amp.
Wire both positives on one sub to + on amplifier and both - on the same sub to - on amplifier to give the amplifier a 2 Ohm load.
Add a second amplifier, or buy an amplifier that is 1 ohm mono stable.
You can wire both to the amplifier at 4 ohms 600W, but they will share the power and only see 300W ea.

SOURCE: does two 1ohm woofer = 2 ohm

if you buy the 4 ohm subs you can drop each of them to 2 ohm and then down to 1 ohm between the two of them. going with the 2 ohm no matter how you wire them you will either get 2 ohms 4 ohms or 8 ohms. hope this helps by the way the 4 ohm solobaric and the 2 ohm are both the same price.

Got 2 woofers, 2ohm stable each. If I get 1ohm stable monoblock amp, will it split that 1ohm equally in 2ohms for each speaker, or would I have to buy another 2 speakers that r 1ohm stable each?

Connecting the two 2 ohm speakers in parallel will create a 1 ohm load. Connect the positives of both speakers to the plus output of the amp, both negatives of the speakers to the minus output of the amp.

I have a lightning audio l-11000d amp and it says paralleled internally for 1 ohm min I have 2 4ohm dvc audiobaun 15s do I wire to come out box 2ohms or 1ohm

Depends on how much power the speakers will handle. If the speakers will take more than the amp is capable of then go for 1 ohm, otherwise your 4 ohm speakers will do fine.

How do i hook my 2 15" memphis mojo to 1ohm

  1. For that wiring all you have to do is wire all four positives together into one wire. And all four negatives together into another wire then back to the amp check with a meter to make sure you have the right impedance this will only work if your speakers are dual 4 ohm. Otherwise you end up with 2 ohms.

I have 2 kicker cvr 15 4ohm dvcs and a performance teknique ICBM power 4000 watt 1ohm stable amp when I hook up my speakers 1 ohm it kicks my amp into protect when I wire it at 4 ohms it works fine how do...

Are your subwoofers wired in series or parallel? Check your connections, if everything is ok, the problem is with your amplifier. It might have a blown capacitor inside or its not really a 1ohm stable amplifier. Have it repaired if thats the case.

I have two audiobahn aw1500 15" subowoofers and i was trying to figure out how to wire them so that they come to 2 ohms. I have a Kicker 400.1 amp that is 2 ohm stable.

What is their ohms at the moment. If they are 8 ohms the will become 4o hms in parallel, 4 ohms will become 2 ohms in parallel. Since your audiobahns are dual four ohms coils one speaker wired in parallel gives you 2 ohms and both wired together in parallel will give you 1 ohms. You will need to wire them in series parallel to to keep two ohms and that is a waste of power. Kickers are good amps, with a little extra cooling the amp should sustain the 1 ohm capability of your parallel connection or trade in for a 1ohm stable amp

How do wire my 15'' to 1ohm

If each voice coil is rated at 2-ohm, then wire it in "parallel". This will make a 1-ohm total load.

amp pos. out to coil 1 pos. to coil 2 pos.

amp neg. out to coil 1 neg. to coil 2 neg.

If the they are dual 4-ohm, the rating would be 2-ohm in parallel.

ONE OHM STABLE 2500W MAX POWER AMP DIAGRAM ON 2

For a 1ohm load it's positive to positive and negative to negative run 1 wire from one speaker to the other. Positive to positive neg to neg. Then 1 wire from the speakers to the amp. The amp will have + - + - on it's inputs for left and right speakers (if stereo) Use the outside positive and outside negative. If there are any switches on the amp that say "mono" "stereo" switch to "mono". Hope this helps

I want to hook up my 2 quad coil woofers to a 1ohm amp but

I would look up "series" and "parallel" wiring on the net. Parallel will lower your ohms, which is good- especially for you since your amp is 1ohm. use 1 channel of your amp (unbridged...bridging an amp could increase output, but will Raise the ohms) connect the positive terminal with a wire that goes to the positive on your first sub, and from there, connect a wire from that same positive terminal to the positive terminal on your second sub. do the same thing with the neg. wire. This is called parallel wiring.
