You just need to identify the part and replace it. Check the diagram on the top left. If it is part 7 it is discontinued, so you would have to remove it and have it MIG welded.
We experienced same problem for months until nothing worked.. would not make even a click when starting. Solution, change your crankshaft. Sensor.. started right after we changed it,. Hope that works
The 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue gets 28 mpg city/hwy. If you dont think you are getting that, I suggest replacing the air cleaner, and running a few tanks of higher octane gas through.
Remove the starter and inspect the teeth on the flywheel if the teeth are worn the transmission will req removing and a new flywheel fitting try putting the vehicle in gear and rocking it this will turn the engine and change the position of the flywheel then try to start
try squirting starting fluid in to the air filter.. just a short burst should start.. if starts and stalls and your in this cold you need to get some heet..put in gas..
