Oven beeping, door locked F9 error

I have an electric glass top with an electronic panel. I had a party last night and someone hit the buttons on the control panel. The stove now beeps, the door is locked. If I push the cancel button, it stops beeping for a few seconds and then begins again and F9 comes on the screen. It will not let me set it to clean or give it any other command.
I had this problem once before, but the door was open and I could reset the lock from inside. If I can get the door to open, I think I can take it from there.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I pretty much have the same problem and now I have to keep the door open a crack so it doesn't beep. It's incredibly annoying. How did you fix your problem the first time when the door was not locked? Maybe that will help me...

Have you tried to unplug the range for 5 minutes? That may reset the programming that is going on.

Fault Showing F9 on display,

So F9 would explain why your door latch isn't unlocking since F9 means your door latch has failed to move. Ok so it sounds like your door latch may have failed.

Oven Lock stuck open before start of self-cleaning cycle I get a code F9, a flashing lock light, a continous beep and a dr code on the panel when I try to set self-cleaning cycle again.

Thank you for your inquiry, Lucie!

From what you have described your Frigidaire oven lock is stuck open and you are receiving error codes "F9" and "DR". The "F9" error code stands for runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. The "DR" code means that the door is not closed or the door latch is not recognizing the door is closed. This could be an issue with your door latch or control panel. If the reset does not help correct your issues I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. Best of luck! -Matt

How do I clear error beeping (F9) on my Amana gas range

try to hold in on the oven light switch plunger that the door would hit if it was closed properly. what you probably did was to pull the door open while it was trying to lock. once you hold the plunger in, then hit the clean cycle again and then push to cancel button to get the door latch to unlock the door. it may take a minute or two but that should clear up the error code and let you use the oven again.
next time if you push the clean by mistake, just let it go and then when it says "locked" just push the cancel button. it will unlock and be ready to use.

Amana EvenAir Convection Plus Self Cleaning Oven will not unlock.

My oven was locked and would not open. No lock light was on but the oven was clearly locked. F9 error when I hit certain buttons.

Try this. I unplugged the oven for about 5 minutes. Plugged back in. A LOCK light came on. Held down "Oven Cancel" for a few seconds. Door opened and lock light went off. No more F9 error when I hit those buttons.

Frigidaire Range FEF357BBD error code F9

I had the situation where the oven thinks the door is locked but it was not locked. Setting and holding clear eventually gave a f9 error.
I solved this by turning the circuit breaker off and taping over the oven light switch ( so it thinks it really is locked ) and turning on the breaker. The oven unlocked and appears fine now.

My frigdaire stove door finally opened manually from behind but

F9 code: An F9 code indicates the EOC has detected a problem with the motor door latch assembly. Check the contacts of the lock switch, wiring to the lock motor assembly, and the lock motor.
