You should pull the power cord from the wall outlet anyhow.

suddenly wont brew. it brewed about 2 cups and stopped. water still in resevoir & turning it on & off & unplugging doesn't help.

coffee maker stops brewing half way through brewing.

If the display works and the platter heats up when it is turned on to brew, this might be the problem and solution. Please read both (scroll).

I have no solution, however I have the same problem. Wondering if you have resolved the problem yet?

Am I to assume it brews if you normal brew? It can be that normal brew is not controlled in the same way hi brew is, therefore when the control panel stops functioning and no screen display, the hi brew feature also stops working.
This casn only mean that either the circuit control is faulty and needs replacement. orthere is a bad connection that has finely shown or corroded to the point of not working completely. In either case, the unit needs to opened and tested & or visually insepected.

It sounds to me like the Timer board is damaged, to test it set the small lock lever on the board to on (hopefully you have the electronic timer board in there) then select the cycle half or full then hold down the brew button until you hear 3 clicks then release. After about 1min or if using a measuring pitcher stop the brewer a 2ltrs, by turning the on/off switch off. Wait until flow stops then check water level and note. Turn brewer back on and press and release brew button and this time if it stops and gives you the same amount as you just got when programming then the timer is fine, just recalibrate it for full brew using the method above.

A couple of people on here mentioned he filtration system, or charcoal filter that is in the
water resovoir as being problematic. We removed it. This morning the pot brewed entirely.
Not sure how that all is inter-connected, but it worked.

Try cleaning it with pure vinegar. 3-4 times just keep running it through the machine.
