This can be reset and to reset it turn the appliance knob to the off or reset position (12 o'clock), turn the knob to the 6 o'clock and then press and hold the spin button, then while holding that button turn the knob to 7 o'clock position, continue holding spin button for 15 seconds and then turn the knob to off. After a minute turn it back on, if the error code is still there then it means that the motor or brushes in the motor should be replaced, though it is always better to replace the motor assembly completely.
