I have a norstar M7310N and have lost all instruction on the phone, i need to cahnge a name on the system as they no longer work here and enter a new one, please could you advise me in how i do it

To reset your voice mail password, press feature 983 the screen should say log: enter 1020000 (default password) if you have a 3 digit intercom number, 120000 if you have a 2 digit intercom number the display should say mbox, AA, and othr above the three soft keys press the mbox soft key the screen should say add, del, and chng above the soft keys press the chng soft key enter in the mailbox number you wish to reset the password on press ok the screen should say reset and next above the soft keys press the reset soft key your password will be reset to 0000 press the next key till you see the ext/name info.(about the second or third "next" press the CHNG key and enter in your first and last name the # key advances you one space press it twice to enter in the comma between the first and last name. press the Rls key when finished
To program a intercom key for your boss. press feature *2, press the button you want to be your bosses button(one of the ones on the lower end of the phone where the LCD screen is), then enter in his intercom number.
The persons name is recorded in their personal mail box.Thats done by pressing open voicemail or feature 981 followed by their password, press 8 or admin and press 1 to re record thier name in the company directory.
To re-record greetings, enter Feature 983. if your system has 2 digit intercom #s your default password is 120000 if your system has 3 digit intercom #s your default password is 1020000. once you have entered the password you will see 3 selections you can make .use the three soft keys under the display and select AA (auto Attendant). next press greeting and greeting again. next it'll ask for the greeting number your probably working with greeting 1. press record to start and ok when finished. dont forget to save the greeting or it will be deleted if you exit early. hang up when finished.
If you have a 7310 set in the office use that phone to program.Dial feature **23646 PWSD 23646 or 266344 Tap the right bottom button until you see name displayed on the lcd screen.tap top right it will say ext Number dial your exttension number (if you don't know rls from program and dial Feature*0 and tap your INtercom key) once your number is in tap top right until you see name tap sofkey change and dial in your name A=2 B=22 C=222
Sounds like your going to have to reset the administrator password to get in.To reset the administrator pasword enter feature 985 press 9, at the password prompt enter 73738767793 (resetsmpwsd) and press ok or #,press yes to reset password. password should be defaulted to 0000. then try Feature 983. if your system has 2 digit intercom #s your password is 120000 if your system has 3 digit intercom #s your password is 1020000.
I am assuming you have sharpdesk or network scanner tool installed on the computer you are wanting to send a scan to.
Click on start then programs and look for sharpdesk/network scanner tool and start the NST program. Once it is open/started you should be in the "profiles" tab and there should be some profiles listed (presumably the old employees name). Put a check mark next to the ones you want to delete and click delete. this will remove them from the copiers image send. Then create a new profile (add) with the new employees name and apply the changes. Restart the copier and the employees name should show up.

Feature 00 Left intercom Left intercom Right intercom enter the extension you want to modify press the left intercom Enter the name. When finished, press feature 00 to exit programming.
If you go into system admin in voicemail, you have to edit the mailbox and give it a name. intercom 777, 0#, 123456#, 9, 4 (mailboxes) enter the mailbox number and follow prompts to change the name.
