Look around on the base (where you set the phone when not in use) look for a volume or mute button, maybe youve accidentally muted it or turned down the volume, also look on the phone itself, for the same buttons, if neither of these things work, its possible the wiring on the inside of the phone is faulty, could also be a faulty speaker/ringer. If this is the case, i suggest buy a new phone

How do you change the Ring tone on Panasonic KX-T2378JXW telephone

You can not change the ring tone on the KX-T2378JXW. You can adjust the ring volume for either line by using the switches on the right hand side of the phone. Your choices are Off, Low and High for each line. See page 13 of the manual for a picture of the switches. One copy of the manual is here: http://www.panasonic.ae/en/manuals/kx-t2378.pdf . Another copy is available from the product site: http://www.panasonic.com/middleeast/en/consumer/telephones-home-security/telephone/corded/kx-t2378.html . Scroll down to find the link to the manual.

I hope this helps.

I cant send a fax or reseave one

Sir/Madam

Solution one: Check the fax connections Use the following steps to check the physical connections, and then use the HP Fax Test Service.

Step one: Check the physical connections

  1. Disconnect the telephone cord from the HP fax product, and then examine the connector on the end of the cord. Make sure that the cord has only two wires. Figure 1: Two-wire telephone cord

  1. Four-wire telephone cordGraphic: Four-wire telephone cordIf the cord has four wires, replace it with a two-wire phone cord.
If you must use a cord with four wires, use the converter that shipped with product. The converter allows a cord with four wires to work with a device that requires a cord with two wires.
  2. Connect one end of the telephone cord to the telephone jack, and then connect the other end of the cord to the port labeled 1-Line on the back of the HP fax product.

    5 - Answering machine
    6 - Two-wire telephone cord to 1-Line
  2. Pick up the telephone receiver and listen for a dial tone. Make sure that you can dial out using the telephone keypad.
If there is a dial tone and you can dial out using the telephone, the HP fax product is connected correctly to a working telephone cord and telephone jack. If there is no dial tone, check the configuration again and make sure that it is set up correctly. If You Still Having Hp Printer Problem Then Visit Official HP Printer Website On Below Link URL http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c02263145

How to program ring tone on KX-T7730 for each CO? For example I want the inbound call on CO1 and CO2 to ring differently, and for the call for CO3 not to ring ... thank you !

Analog Panasonic phones have one "ring tone". You program it to ring or not ring, but the tone is exactly the same. Ringing programming is in SYSTEM programming in the 40x's, depending on the cabinet. In a TA series, inbound ringing is program 408 409 and 410.

Hi I have a vtech Hannah Montana Cordless phone and it won't ring. It has a slash through the ringer bell on the screen. I've tried the ringer settings taking the battery out and the tone and...

These can be the only things that are causing your problems:

Ringer mute
You can mute the ringer temporarily when the telephone is ringing.
Press OFF/CLEAR or MUTE to temporarily silence the ringer. The next call will ring normally.

Ringer volume
You can change the handset ringer volume to a comfortable level. The ringer can also be turned off so the telephone does not ring when there are incoming calls.
To adjust the ringer volume:
Press MENU/SELECT to display the menu when the handset is not in use.
Press or to select >RINGER VOLUME, then press MENU/SELECT.
Press or to adjust the volume. A sample of each volume level will be played as you adjust it.
Press MENU/SELECT to save your selection. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Make sure the ringer is on (page 8).
Make sure the telephone line cord and power adapter are plugged in properly (page 2).
The handset may be too far from the telephone base. Move it closer to the telephone base.
There may be too many extension phones on the telephone line to allow all of them to ring simultaneously. Try unplugging some of them.
If the other telephones in your home are having the same problem, the problem is in the wiring or local service. Contact the local telephone company (charges may apply).
Other electronic products can cause interference to your cordless telephone. Try installing your telephone as far away as possible from the following electronic devices: wireless routers, radios, radio towers, pager towers, cellular telephones, digital telephones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, VCRs, personal computers, kitchen appliances, and other cordless telephones.
Test a working telephone at the telephone wall jack. If another telephone has the same problem, the problem is in the telephone wall jack. Contact your local telephone company (charges may apply).
The telephone line cord might be malfunctioning. Try installing a new telephone line cord.
Wait for the handset to synchronize with the telephone base. Allow up to one minute for this to take place.

My office phone rings and all the lights on the phone works.all the other phones in the office works.but, i have no dial tone or cannot hear anything on my handset or the speakerphone

A 77xx series phone is a Proprietary Analong telephone. It requires 4 wires to operate, the inner pair (your standard tip and ring) carries the voice and the outer pair carries the data. Guess which pair has a problem :-)

If you start with a regular telephone and plug it into the jack, you'll get dial tone. Work your way back until the regular phone works. Once it does, the 77xx phone will work. Also, to double check, take the system phone and plug it directly into the jack at the system cabinet. It should work or you have a defective base cord or phone.

I WANT TO CHANGE THE RINGING MELODY OF PANASONIC KX-T7565

I'm going to take a chance here, because we don't have them. The au brochure says you have 8 tones, so try pressing Program, the button twice (be it intercom or a CO button), then dial 01-08 and STORE. By default, digital phones already ring 01 tone. You have to do this for each line and each phone to make it work.
