How do you fix a Samsung 55" Television with no picture but good sound?

The led driver is on the main board.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

It appears to be a case of backlight failure. since you have replaced all the boards, inverter is ruled out. Some of the LEDs in the backlight array may have gone bad. Fault is repairable, but needs care and experience of opening and repairing the LED panel. Good luck.

Main board. T con board is only involved with video issues. Main board goes both ways and since you already replaced the T con board that is your only alternative. U got backlite so inverter board is good.

Do you have back lighting. Shine a light on the screen. If you can barely see a picture the set has no backlight but video is good. This would rule out the main board. Not shure if this set is LED backlight or flouresent tube back light. If flouresent tube check for voltages to inverter board. 24v or 15v. They are marked on the board. If voltages are there likely inverter board. or could be power brd. Check pricing on new tv.

Power on the unit in the dark room then shine with the flashlight directly in the screen, you will barely see the images. This is because your backlight is not functioning. The following reason is the caused.
1. Power supply - missing B+(supply voltage) coming from this board feeding the inverter board. This is caused by faulty transistor, dried/leaky electrolytic capacitor, open fusible resistor.
2. Inverter board - even the B+ is good from the power supply, if the fuse, driver transistor, driver transformer is faulty no output to the backlight resulting to black picture.
3. Busted backlight - even inverter board is good but if this is busted resulting to black picture also.
Diagnosing the fault is technical and if you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't fix it yourself, I would advice you to look for an experienced technician to isolate the problem.
