SOURCE: The elastic cord of the tube poles of the rainfly

Those stretchy tent poles are at walmart, real cheap, Buy a couple and you will have a spare. If you want to fix the old one, I would try a couple solvents to loosen the glue, then remove the tip. Goo gone, or one of those to start, then move up to the mineral spirits, then the laquer thinner, If that doesn't do it, Nothing this side of fire will do it. Laq thinner is the strongest solvent available. Be carefull.

SOURCE: I have a two man Ozark tent. How do I set it u p?

Two poles. They pass up through the sleeves on the outside of the tent, across the top, through the sleeve on the diagonally opposed side, then each end is stuck into the pocket attached at each corner. They cross at the top. Then the small rain fly attaches with bungees over the top.

SOURCE: I'm looking for replacement poles

Call 1 888 280 7876 M-F 8am to 5pm CST with the model number and they should be able to help you get replacements poles. Note: I have the same tent and the poles cracked after only a few times camping. I believe they are of poor quality and it may not be worth the cost to replace them considering the entire tent costs appx $50 at Walmart new. (Check out the reviews at Walmart.com!)

How do I set up my 2 room Campmate tent?

Lay it out flat. Steak all of the corners down. Firm but not to tight. put your shock rods together and string them through the loops made for them on the top the tent and secure them at the corners, probably a pin on the corners that need to be inserted in the shock rod pole bottom. Once you have them all up then you can put up the rain fly. Use the shock rods to do this and place the canopy over the top and secure the elastic cords to the corners and you are done.

Do not have instructions how to set it up?

What type of tent?
Typically, aluminum poles are "vertical",
while fiberglass (flexible) poles are "horizontal" (to support the top of the tent).

I have a ten year old tent hardly used that has somehow now minus its tent pools can i get replacement ? how ? and How much

Sporting goods stores normally carry generic replacement poles- you want to find pole of the same diameter. These can carefully be cut to size by securing the cord between the first & second pole, cutting the knot at the end of the pole, then sawing off the end of the first pole that does not have the metal coupling. This is easier if you wrap masking tape around the pole at the cut location to help prevent the fiberglass from splitting. Put the cord back through the first pole, tie a couple of figure 8 knots, and you are good to go.

Hillary ten person family tent

Step 1 Choose a spot to set up your tent. Look for level ground that's free of large rocks or other debris. Make sure you're safely away from your campfire. If it's possible, pitch your tent away from your kitchen area as not to bring animals too close should they be attracted by the smell of food. Once you've chosen a spot, clear the ground of small rocks and sticks to give you a comfortable floor to sleep on. Step 2 Unroll your tent. Put the rainfly and poles aside. Open the tent body so it lays flat on the site you chose. Orient the door so it faces in an accessible direction. Step 3 Take out the tent poles. A basic Hillary tent will use two long poles for the tent body and one short pole of the rainfly. Assemble the two long poles and thread them through the pole guides on the tent body, attaching them to the holes in each tent corner to raise the tent. Step 4 Open the rainfly. Assemble the shorter pole and guide it through the top of the rainfly. Place the rainfly on top of the tent and secure it to the bottom of the tent body with the attached hooks. Step 5 Stake down your tent. You don't want to be surprised by a storm in the middle of the night or while you're away from camp. Stake your tent even if the weather is clear when your arrive. Use a stake at least in each corner of the tent. Find a rock to hammer them firmly into the ground.

How to set up a spalding uv Tex 5 tent

First set the 3 eleven piece poles with 2 crossed across the tent and one across the front portion. Feed them thru the channels and buckles. Then put the pin hooks into the bottom of the poles. You will need to arc the poles to get the pins into the end of the pole. Next put the poles that are smaller into the channels and buckles for the two vestibules. Again put the pin hooks into the same pole ends as the back crossed one.
Stake the tent to the ground by driving the stakes thru the pin rings starting at the 6 corners of the tent. Pull front of vestibule taut and secure in place by driving stakes thru webbing loops at base.
Install the rainfly by draping it over the top of the tent. Hook each of the 8 S hooks onto the provided loops. Secure the rainfly to the poles by wrapping the velcro straps around the poles underneath the rainfly.
These instructions should be in the pocket on the wall in the main section of the tent in the pocket with red writing.

Need instruction manual for the Ridgeway Moab Model 89034. 4 room tent

I borrowed one of these and got most of the job done. Here's what I ended up doing:
At a site with good drainage, a little uphill, stake down the floor of the tent
Longest two poles go through the twin sleeves in the center/top. They are color coded red and yellow
These two poles are anchored at the base by the center color coded ring_peg
The tube ends of the fiberglass poles. Fit over these pegs.

The slightly shprter fiberglass poles go trhough the two blue sleeves.
These poles get anchored on one end by a yellow ring peg and on the other by a red ring peg. They hold the vented windows up.

The arch shaped pole is threaded through a black sleeve atop the entrance to the. Tent.
The arch is anchored on either side by a red ring peg on one end and a yellow peg on the other.

Stake the lines from the screen windows outwards from the tent

Spread the tarp over the top and stake the corners to shelter the screened top from rain
