Installed new cartridge. When I turn the water supply on water keeps running with the handle in the off position. Tried 3 different cartridge's. Even if you turn the water on it keeps flowing.

Had the same issue. Not the cartridge, which only passes water thru it. Probably the valve on the sink fixture is sticking open, especially if it's a few years old. In our case, jiggling valve would help. Can these fixtures be repaired (new gasket or whatever)? Don't know what you've got.

SOURCE: I put a new shower valve on a delta shower faucet

The first thing I would do is to start over Remove the cartridge and look behind it to make sure the Quad seal and seats and springs are all in place, It sounds like a least one of the seats fell out of their home. Also double check that the spring are in correctly with the tapered end pointing towards the cartridge. The link below may or may not be helpful.

Sounds like someone did not remove the plastic valve assembly before soldering the valve body to the copper piping.
That or the valve body needs cleaned out. It is common for debris to get knocked lose when doing installations on old plumbing.

Remove handle and check temperature adjustment it maybe out. Remove handle and slide little adjustment gear out and move it a 1/4 turn and reinstall it to see if any difference occurs. If it is not set right you want be able to turn water off and possibly cartridge maybe be bad. With it being brand new and it should work out of the box take it back if no simple fixes will work. You want the best and not have to work on something you just bought anyway. Something may have been left off the cartridge maybe seat bad or o ring.

How to replace washer cartridge in bathroom tap

Turn the faucet to the closed position. Turn off the water to the faucet. Remove the handle. The screw that holds it on may be under a plastic cover. Unscrew the large nut. Remove the cartridge. Put the new cartridge in the closed position. Look at the old cartridge and be sure the new one matches the old one. Insert the cartridge. Replace the nut and tighten. Replace the handle. Turn on the water.

When close the handle at OFF side, the water keep running

Most likely the interior cartridge is installed incorrectly or misaligned. You need to turn off the water supply and then open up the faucet. There should be a way (especially if you still have the installation instructions) of making sure the cartridge is set so that when the handle is in the off position, none of the openings in the cartridge will allow water to flow through to the shower.

Handle will not turn water off

single cartridge? pull old one, flush some water through empty valve then install new cartridge. once installed, make sure the horseshoe clip is properly inserted to keep the stem in. once the clip is in right, there is a chrome tube with a ridge that slides over the barrel and the clip. the ridge acts as the stop for the handle. also make sure there are stops inside back of handle to hit the ridge on the chrome tube. the plastic inside the handle may break off allowing the handle to spin. the stem unit/cart may also be installed 180 degrees out of place. pull the lock clip and use the remover tool that came with new cart to rotate it 180 degrees with water supply turned off.

Won't print dark enough

Forget buying a new toner cartridge and don't bother re-installing anything - This is a power supply problem - The electrolytic capacitors fade away after a few years of power on and the high voltage to the printing engine drops too low.I tried a new toner cartridge - no help - re-installed drivers - no help.If you can handle a soldering iron or know a friend who can, replace the following capacitors on the power supply board on the LHS (power cord side). Make sure you use low impedance 105 degree power supply types. Warning - high voltage !!! power cord out and wait 30 minutes before touching anything.
C374 341 503 529 (47uF/35V), C526 (1uf/50V), C506 (0.47uF/35V), C515 (100uf/50V). All the others tested fine in mine. Also make sure you install them the correct way around!
Now I have "black as black can be" prints just like new and I can set print density back to 2 not 5.
enjoy ;-)

Single-handle Glacier Bay shower faucet, hot/cold reversed

Behind the handle check to see if it has a dail to take out and replace at a different postion this will change the hot and cold. It a anti scald protection device. Don't remove cartridge just adjust dail.

Mark where you start and take out and move a 1/8-1/4 turn at a time and replace til temp desired. It has teeth like a gear you move to adjust temp.

American Standard Cadet 2-handle tub & shower set-Model#3275 - low pressure output

When you installed the new tub faucet you probably turned off the water to that faucet of even the whole house. IF IT IS AN OLDER HOUSE, TURNING THE WATER OFF AND BACK ON CAN LOOSEN SOME DEBRIS IN THE WATER LINES THAT CAN FIND THEIR WAY TO YOUR NEW FAUCET. If there is a screen at the end of the water outlet it can be clogged with gunk. Uncrew the screen on the water outlet and clean. You may also want to flush out the hot and cold outlets by turning the water off, removing the cartigages and slowly let water flush them out. Then reassemble. Also when you have the tub handles out you can turn the hot and cold supply valves off and on a few times to loosen more debris if it exsists........Joe
