Call forwarding is not a feature of the cordless phone, it is done by the telephone company the CS6829 base is connected to. Contact the provider of your telephone service to see if it is available and
have them set you up. For example, with Verizon Cellular Home Phone Service, we have a CS6829 base connected to the Verizon
Service box: to forward incoming calls to another number we just
enter (dial) *72 and the number to be forwarded to and listen for
a 'beep beep beep' confirmation signal, then hangup. To stop the call forwarding we enter (dial) *73 and listen for the 'beep beep beep', then hangup. For your service, the steps may be different !!! Good luck.

Un forward line

Normally it's *72 to forward calls and *73 to cancel. If that doesn't work, contact your telephone company for their instructions regarding call forwarding.

I have a 3-line Nortel T7316e phone. The feature to un-forward calls from one of my lines is not doing so. I need to un-forward calls from one of my lines.

Usually it should unforward calls by pressing the CALL FWD key again. Check out the user manual to be sure 100%. You can download the manual here: Nortel t7316

Hi D,

You should go into your voice mail and check your Outdial settings. If Outdial is turned on, you`ll need to deactivate call forward from there.

How do i transfer calls

by transfer calls, do you mean call forwarding?

On most phones, a *72 then the number you want to forward to (xxx) xxx-xxxx. then talk (or send)

To unforward, usually *720. (then talk or send)

Additional cost per minute usually apply to forwarded calls.

Unless that is not what you meant.

Good luck. Don't forget to vote.

PHONE IS ON FORWARD

I think forwarding is in your PBX rather than the phone.
On my system it is #1+ext to forward and #1 to cancel.
