How do I copy a text after it has been sent to me an then e-mail it to myself to save

hi, check all folders for message -- change settings to save sent message in folder==1.log in to your yahoo mail.
2.go to options
3.pick "save sent message in sent folder'.

You might not have option ticked "Save a copy of the message in the Sent folder".
To enable the option go to
"Options" should be on right hand side of your screen. From the option drop-down menu click on "Mail Options" and check the Tick Box saying "Save a copy of the message in the Sent folder" and click on "Save Changes".

Login to yahoo mail Click on the options. On the drop down menu click on more options. You will come to the page general. Check the box stating save a copy in my sent folder. Save the changes. You will get now the copy of sent mail in your sent folder.

You have to change the settings of your email to save your sent items. Just go to Options -> More options.

Check "Save a copy of the message in the Sent folder"

Save Sent Messages Automatically in Yahoo! Mail Classic To automatically put any outgoing message in the Yahoo! Mail Classic Sent folder:

Go to yahoo mail ->options->mail options->select save a copy of messages in the sent folder->save changes.

"Resolved my issue - discovered something under folders, then Menu which allows you to 'Sync' both the 'sent' and 'sent items' folder. I can now see all my sent items - Great!"
