I suggest you plug into the internet using an ethernet cable and then open the device manager and ask it to search for an updated driver.

No. you need an expert for that question. The device manager will delete a single driver for you. Faced with your problem I would try reloading the operating system and if that doesn't work there could be a hardware problem with the wireless and you would need a repair or use a dongle instead.
