I don't see any mention of an "Auto repair program" in the manual.

Russell, you cannot start a security installed vehicle with a none security key. If you have lost your key to the vehicle then here's what you can do. Take the last 8 of your VIN Number and your vehicle to the Mitsubishi Dealer and they can cut and program a new key to the security module. NOTE: Another way to do this is to have the dealer cut a new key for the vehicle and then call around to find a lock smith that has the ability to program the key to the vehicle. Do you have a program Speedbit? It looks like a SpeedBit UPdate file. Delete Speed Bit or shuat down auto update in Speed Bit settings. Do you have a program CCLEANER free: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ Install and run a clean to remove the junk from your system, also in TOOLS, STARTUP you can disable programs the start at windows start that you do not need, for instance SBUPdate.exe Disabling unneeded programs will speed up your machine.

All one needs to do is simply insert your Grand Theft Auto disk into your computer and install it, some-times a repair option is available.

There is an error in the manual. Following the directions will, as you discovered, start brewing immediately.

To complete the auto-start programming, in step 8 of "Programming Auto-Start" you should NOT "press the PROGRAM button."

Instead, as soon as you have set the desired minute of the Start Time (step 7 in the manual), press the START / CANCEL button.


The LCD screen will then dim and display 'PROGRAM ON' to indicate that the Auto-Start feature has been successfully turned on.

I have found a manual that may be better than you have now, it seems real easy to understand and has pictures too,basically you use the Volume + & - keys to step through the Menu, and there is an "Auto Search" function too..5.5.1.1 page 11, start there and follow pictures.. START: Press MENU Key to enter the menu list, press Left and Right Key to enter the following list, press Up and Down Key to enter the sub-list and then press Left and Right Key to setup the contents. 5.5.1.2. In the CATV state, choose Auto scan and press OK to enter Cable system settings. Four options, AUTO, STD, IRC, HRC can be chosen. 5.5.2. In the Start to scan item, press VOL+ to start searching. Auto searching will clear the primary program. 5.5.3. Press Auto Scan Add Ch will start auto search based on primary program.

Setting Up the TV
After you have finished connecting your TV, you can use Auto Program to set up your
channels. During Auto Program, the TV will automatically search for available channels and
program receivable channels.
(Make sure CABLE is connected on coaxial and you are not using any other connections such as cable box, hdtv or satellite antenna)

1 Press to turn on the TV. The Initial Setup screen appears.
2 Press on the remote control or on the TV front panel to start Auto Program, or press
to exit.
To perform Auto Program again
1 Press .
2 Press g to highlight Channel Menu.
3 Press f to highlight Cable. Press to select.
4 Press F or f to highlight On or Off according to how you connected your TV. Press to
select.
5 Press f to highlight Auto Program. Press to search for channels.
6 After Auto Program finishes, press to exit.
To reset the TV to factory settings
1 Turn the TV on.
2 Hold down on the remote control.
3 Press and release the POWER button on the TV front panel. The TV will turn itself off,
then back on.
4 Release .
✍ When you start Auto Program wait until it is finished; otherwise it will skip over channels that are
available. Perform Auto Program again to program receivable channels.
✍ The Initial Setup screen appears each time you turn on the TV until you perform Auto Program.
