That usually happens when the switch is dirty. You can flood it with electrical contact cleaner. Also make sure the speaker connections are good and the polarity is correct.

Hard to tell without being in front of it, but sounds as if you might have the key on power not hooked up and only have battery power going to it.

You have a case of a blown sub. You will need a recone kit. You ca send it in to a company like fix my speaker or google recone kits for Power Acoustik FUBAR. May be cheaper just to get another sub.

I have a 3000 watt power acoustik amp with 6 gauge wiring kit i hooked up everything correctly but the amp comes on in protection mode then switches to on but no sound ever comes from the speakers

one think the picture of that amp and the amount of wattage i recommend you change the wire to 4-guage and check the rca,and spk wiring
