Volume Up + Home + Power, then choose "Factory Reset"

Hi John, this is what I found for you>

To overcome this problem you must follow my steps;

1. Keep Drawing the pattern number of times
2. Then at one time it will recognize that you forgot your pattern
3. Then it will ask for your E Mail ID and password
4. Type them then you can log in

Also > Its really very bad when we forget our password....
So i am providing you few fixes to solve this....

Here is a simple fix first....

try pattern 5 times then it will show forget password...
then click on forget password and it will ask for your google account information fill the details
Once you filled the correct details it will ask to draw a new pattern....

If you do not have any details of google account then there are also some other ways to get this back .....

Factory reset!

If you forgot the pattern, then you need to hard reset it.
But, you will lose all the data.
If you tell the exact model of your tablet, I can give instructions for hard reset.

Continue drawing patterns until the tablet asks for your google account sign in. For the user name type the word null, for the password type four zeros, ie, 0000. This is the universal google unlock code for android devices.

it will show an option forgot pattern try pressing that button and then follow the procedures

i had the same thing happen wat u do is u power off and hold the louder button and the power button at the same time until the cruz sign pops up its should start saying stuff and it should be fix hope it works
