Double picture on my Sanyo dp32242

Sorry I can't advise you if the trouble is being caused by technical trouble inside your tv - I just wanted to mention, if you receive your signal via an antenna to be aware it is possible to receive the same signal a second time a small fraction of a second behind the first if it is being reflected from a nearby high building or similar. This condition produces a ghosting effect on the screen behind the main picture.

TV fuses go out like mines and can hear the cable but see no picture..

Double check all your connections.

Gonna need three wire connector (is red/white and yellow, yellow for video, red for right sound channel, white for left sound channel). Standard, and sold at either Walmart or Radio Shack.

If it's picture that's giving a double image from your terrestrial aerial it's called ghosting , you need to move your antenna it's caused by signal reflection and usually happens when your in a strong signal area.

That's kind of spooky. Jokes apart, check if there is a any short circuit in the power panel. The MOSFET's nowadays transfer huge amount of current. So check it.

It sounds that the main system control memory IC is faulty. It do not lock with tuning frequency and AGC voltage. Replace it with same number. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

Double picture indicates a convergence problem. You can get the parts from various internet retailers or you can get a complete kit with instructions from www.tvrepairkits.com. If you decide to just get the parts on your own be carefull not to buy the china chips. Only get genuine Sanyo chips. Otherwise your TV will fail again quickly.

Problem solved. I tried playing DVD and the TV picture was fine. So I double-checked cable wires from cable box - one of the wires was loose (obviously it was the red color input). After tightening, the TV picture is good as new.
